The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills started out with a bang this week. And much of that loud noise is related to cast members sharing snippets of information about the upcoming season, both on and off the show. I can’t remember a season of a Real Housewives show in when so much Housewife chatter occurred so early. And that is saying a lot since most of these ladies LOVE to talk.
From what we have learned so far, much of the new season is going to be centered around Camp [Lisa] Vanderpump-filled with diamonds, sparkles, silky blouses, and miniature ponies. And everyone else. I would call that place Camp Non-Lisa, but that would be confusing since Lisa Rinna is squarely in that camp. That angry place is filled mostly with accusations against Lisa V.
One of the ladies shared even more dish about the season with us this week. In an interview with E! News: The Daily Pop, Erika Jayne revealed some of her thoughts on Season 9. When asked to name who she thinks will be the “winner” in the Kyle Richards vs. Lisa V feud, Erika said, “I don’t think there will be [one]. I think they will have to cut the baby in half.” Thank you for that rather gruesome analogy, Switzerland Jayne.
Of course, Erika had to tease things a little more. She went on to say, “I think you will have one part of the audience go one way and one part will go the other way. I really do.” Which is interesting, as we all know Ms. Jayne is not shy about taking sides. Maybe she is hedging her bets? You never know when they might want to book the Pretty Mess Tour at Sur or TomTom! Or Erika might want to have Mauricio Umansky sell her American Gothic mansion. Discussing it beforehand with hubby Tom Girardi, of course!
The Queen of Pasadena had more to say when asked about Lisa V setting up Dorit Kemsley to fall by planting stories about her in the press. Erika shared, “It feels that way. I can’t give too much away, but it definitely feels that way. And you’ll see it come out in the episodes.”

Lisa V has long been accused of planting stories about other cast members in the press over the years. Until now, there has been no smoking gun linking her to such skullduggery. Will this be the season for it?
Summing things up, Erika said, “It’s a long story. I want you to understand something. This isn’t going to get resolved quickly. This is something that keeps unfolding.” We all know that nothing gets resolved quickly in Housewifeland! Erika goes on to state that, “It’s great for the viewers. And it has many layers to it.” Probably like a blooming onion. Fattening and non-nutritious, but totally irresistible. And it might give you indigestion!
And no Housewife interview would be complete without an update on who is speaking to who. As to her current relationship with Lisa V, Erika stated, “No, we haven’t spoken.” Which, by this point, we are all well aware of.
If the first episode and season previews are any indication, we are in for a wild ride during Season 9. I have my seat belt on and am ready to go!
