And now for something completely different! We’re seeing some new faces on Southern Charm this season. Viewers were officially introduced to recent college graduate, Eliza Limehouse on the premier episode. Her degree wasn’t very helpful, as she received some fan backlash after her appearance. We have also met Naomie Olindo’s new boyfriend, Metul Shah. He is a physician and has been known to give Cameran Eubanks a case of the vapors. Another new face is unemployable Austen Kroll’s current woman, Madison LeCroy. Austen might be more disappointing than an unsalted pretzel, but Madison is adding spice to his story line.
Perhaps the best new addition to the cast is newcomer, Lil Craig. His human, Shep Rose decided a companion would be fun. After consulting with his mother, who said ABSOLUTELY NOT, Shep bought himself a doggie. Lil Craig pounced on the scene of Cameron’s birthday bash wearing a chic banana collar and accessorized with a taco leash. As celebrities know, fame comes at the expense of personal privacy. Lil Craig is finding that out for himself now, as he embarks (emBARKS, see what I did there?) on his social media journey.
Unlike his namesake, Craig Conover, Shep hopes Lil Craig can be properly trained to not pee on the carpet. Kidding! Thankfully for all of us, Shep is now unleashing (unleashing!) his little man to the public. Lil Craig is on the Gram, y’all! Being of French Bulldog descent, Lil Craig hails from his breeder in Orangeburg, SC. As viewers know, Shep does not sustain many long term relationships. Make that no long term relationships. But now that Lil Craig and Shep have found each other, their love will stand the test of time.
Since the glamorous pup’s Instagram is still new, there are not many photos up yet. I’m sure that will all change soon, as the public outcry for more Lil Craig will indeed be loud. While many of the comments on LC’s posts were of a complimentary nature, some readers had thoughts on Shep not opting for a rescue dog. One person wrote, “I’m actually surprised more pet lovers aren’t screaming about purchasing versus saving. He’s amazingly cute but so many dogs need help. Something to consider if you recommend dog ownership to friends or you get another.” Someone with similar views shared, “#adoptdontshop.”

As Lil Craig navigates his new celebrity lifestyle, he will enjoy peaceful naps in his purple, plush bedding. He should get plenty of rest, the poor dear has already been subjected to a tantrum dispute between Human Craig and Austen at Cameran’s outdoor soiree. He was held captive by Eliza for the majority of the festivities, who protected him from any possible Solo cups being thrown.
While Lil Craig grows and becomes secure in his notoriety, we must all continue to send him good vibes. It is certain Lil Craig will see things. Things that no one should ever see. But I’m sure he will remain a loyal wing man for his human, Shep. Hopefully this is the one relationship Shep will nurture and take care of, because Lil Craig deserves it.
