Real Housewives of New York star Tinsley Mortimer can’t seem to catch a break. Her relationship with Scott Kluth ended because he wouldn’t put a ring on it. Tinsley’s mom, Dale Mercer, continued to nag her to get pregnant ASAP, even though Tinsley admitted she might only want little Chihuahuas in her life.
Speaking of Chihuahuas, Tinsley also lost her dog Bambi. Crying onto the shoulders of Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan probably wasn’t the best idea, but it was better than nothing. That love didn’t last long because Sonja and Dorinda Medley then started questioning Tinsley on where she got the money to buy her fancy dresses. And now, Carole Radziwill, has decided to pile on Tinsley as well.
Us Weekly reported that Carole went on The Jenny McCarthy Show and admitted that producers pushed her friendship with Tinsley because no one else wanted to hang out with her. Carole said, “Tinsley and I weren’t really clicking…no one wanted to film with her that much.”
Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t understand why no one would want to film with her. Sure, Tinsley might cry a lot, but she seems sweet. Also, maybe it’s just some sort of RHONY hazing for newbies. The cast was less than kind to Barbara Kavovit during her first season and she’s not even a full-time cast member. Maybe they’re just not welcoming to new cast members.

Carole added, “I had fixed her up with this guy I knew, so it was an easy way to do scenes together.” And we all know how that turned out… “Not well, bitch!”
She then described how producers had a hand in their faux friendship. Carole said, “We filmed a lot together, but a lot of it was, ‘Oh you’re going to stay in Tinsley’s room’ when the producer would divvy up rooms.” Huh, I always thought it was Ramona and Sonja who divvied up the rooms.

Carole continued, “I would normally go to the Hamptons and stay at Bethenny’s [Frankel] house. This is weird that I’m staying at Tinsley’s.’ So a lot of that. And Bethenny knew that.” If Bethenny knew that, then why did she always seem jealous of Carole’s relationship with Tinsley?
Carole then drove the point home that she still has nothing to do with Tinsley. She said, “After filming, I never spoke with Tinsley and I haven’t seen or talked to her in a year or two years. We weren’t clicking. That was one of those storylines.” OK, we get it, you don’t like Tinsley.

So the question is, did Tinsley realize this was only a storyline or did she think Carole was her friend? Tinsley clearly was hurt by Carole during the reunion when Carole said they weren’t that close. Poor Tins! I’m hopeful that things turn around for her and that her family and “friends” let up and give her some space.
TELL US – WHY DO YOU THINK NO ONE ON THE CAST WANTED TO FILM WITH TINSLEY? DO YOU THINK TINSLEY KNEW CAROLE DIDN’T THINK THEY WERE FRIENDS?
