Back in the early days of Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa Giudice was so (blindly?) loyal to Joe Giudice. A lot of it just didn’t make sense to viewers. Who could ever forget Joe referring to her as “my cunt wife” during that phone call from the cast trip in Napa? Then, of course, there’s the jail time that they both served, the infidelity accusations (on both ends), and all of their other issues.
Eventually, Teresa (finally) started to show the cracks in their marriage and now they’re living completely separate lives. Even so, Teresa wasn’t always so enthusiastic about their relationship. In fact, she almost didn’t even go through with the marriage.
During an episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey After Show, Teresa admitted, “I wanted to call off my wedding, but then my mom’s like, ‘No, you can’t do that.’ It was a week before!” Oh, how different life would be (for all of us) if she actually did that.
What was the issue? Joe wanted her to sign a prenup. Teresa recalled, “His cousin called off a wedding ’cause the guy made her sign a prenup.” She continued, “I just was hurt over it. He wasn’t a prenup kind of guy.”

It’s not like he has Jackie Goldschneider level of family funds. Otherwise, Teresa says, “I would have no problem. I’d sign on the dotted line!” Somehow, I don’t completely believe that.
Teresa insisted, “I was never the type of woman who ever asked a guy for anything. If I wanted something, I bought it myself. I was never that type of girl. You know how girls look for sugar daddies? I was never that person.”

Teresa added, “I made great money. As a matter of fact, we bought a piece of property together, I even put half the money up.”
Well, now she has way more than half the money in that relationship.
