We finally have a trailer for Real Housewives of New York Season 12. In a time when some Real Housewives shows are falling flat while others are far less fun, the New York ladies are on their way to entertain us all.
However, Bethenny Frankel is out of the picture for this season. “Replacing” Bethenny is Leah McSweeney, which was officially announced at BravoCon in November.
To be honest, there aren’t a lot of clear storylines from the trailer released by Entertainment Tonight, but there are a lot of fun scenes. Still, this is what we should expect to see: Tinsley Mortimer is back with Scott Kluth. This is not exactly a spoiler since we all know they got engaged. This also means that we get to see more of Tinsley’s mom, Dale Mercer, shading the shit out of her supporting her.
We don’t see John Mahdessian in the trailer, but we have heard that he and Dorinda Medley “were on a break,” (cue the Friends reference). So, does that mean they broke up? That’s unclear, but it is clear that Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan are worried about Dorinda.

At one point in the trailer, Ramona says “Something is really bothering Dorinda.” Dorinda even yells at Ramona and Leah. Dorinda also calls Luann de Lesseps “a sick human being.” Dorinda also pushes Lu into a door, something that many viewers wanted to do after all the cabaret chatter last season.
And, yes, the cabaret is still a storyline during Real Housewives of New York Season 12. Oh, and Luann is drinking again, which we all knew/expected. In the trailer, Ramona warns Luann not to sip her cup since it’s “all vodka.” But, Luann does go for it and declares that it “tastes so good.” Oh, boy.

And then there’s Sonja, who will always bless us with some comic relief. In the trailer, we can see her pee in a corn maze and fall out of a chair.
