Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Denise Richards has been involved in non-stop drama while filming Season 10. Denise denied rumors that she had a sexual encounter with Brandi Glanville, who is returning this season to help spice up the show.
The other Beverly Hills Housewives were upset that Denise missed filming because of her busy career. Denise was a no-show for the RHOBH Season 10 finale, and that is a big no-no. Maybe Denise is pulling a Lisa Vanderpump, and she will skip the reunion.
And now Denise can add legal drama to her jam-packed schedule. According to legal documents obtained by The Blast in January 2020, Denise and her husband, Aaron Phypers, leased a Los Angeles home on July 22, 2018. The lease had a specific clause regarding what pets could, and couldn’t, be inside the home. By signing the lease, Denise reportedly agreed that there “would house no animals on the property other than two pot-bellied pigs and three dogs.”
The couple also agreed that they would “properly use, operate, and safeguard the property, keeping it clean and sanitary, would pay for all damage to the property caused by tenants or pets.”

The landlord alleged that Aaron and Denise “breached the foregoing written contract through causing significant damage to the leased property, and knowingly and willingly violated the Pet Addendum.” The owner claimed that he “sustained damages, monetary and otherwise.”
As expected, Denise fired back. Denise’s attorney, Stephen Bernard, responded in a legal letter which was also obtained by The Blast. Bernard wrote, “First and foremost, since you are claiming damages to the property for repair and replacements then I am entitled to see descriptive invoices paid or pending, including receipts and other documents describing damages.”

Bernard claimed that only an estimate for $113,000 in repairs had been received, and there were no videos or photos of the supposed damage to the property. The Blast also reported that neither Aaron nor Denise actually lived in the rental property. Instead, a close family member resided there for a few months.
Bernard concluded his letter by informing the landlord that “my clients had videotaped the premises after moving out. There does not appear to be damaged as you describe. I am more than happy to share the videotape with you.”

Now, according to new legal documents obtained by The Blast, Denise and Aaron have filed a cross-complaint against the landlords, Christopher Masterson and Anthony Ellrod. Denise and her husband denied all the allegations and are suing for unspecified damages. Denise claimed that the property was returned in the same condition as they first received it.
She also said that the landlords “publicized and/or caused to be publicized private information” about her. She stated that a regular person “would consider the publicity highly offensive.” The RHOBH star alleged that she has suffered “great mental and physical pain and discomfort, annoyance, distress, anguish, worry, anxiety, pain and suffering, and has lost wages” because of the lawsuit.
