Everything about 2020 has been unexpected. In the list of 2020 oddities is the revived friendship between NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak. They were bitter enemies on the Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 10 reunion, and many times before that.
While viewers have seen NeNe and Kim enjoy some fun times together, for the most part, we’ve just seen them fighting and shading each other to filth. That’s why it’s kind of surprising that NeNe has been pushing for Kim to return to RHOA. She didn’t just respond to one random question naming an alum that she’s missed. NeNe has spoken out about this several times. She went live with Kim on Instagram. During that session (Yes, I watched. Judge me), NeNe mentioned multiple times that she wanted to start a YouTube venture with Kim.
On a recent episode of the Watch What Happens Live After Show, Andy Cohen brought up NeNe’s desire for a Kim Z comeback. Us Weekly reported that Eva Marcille said she’s “so confused.” For the record, NeNe and Kim privately squashed their beef when NeNe’s husband Gregg Leakes had cancer, which happened around the same time Kim’s son had a major accident. They claimed that they realized what was more important in life and they made up.
Will that peace last if Kim returns to the show? If history is any indication, the answer is no. However, I would love to see NeNe and Kim on the same side for more than two seconds.

Eva said, “Andy, I have not been around as long as a lot of these girls on Housewives, though I had been in the business. What I do know about NeNe and Kim was the first season I came on, they were enemies. She even reminded him, “They were fighting roaches in each other’s house.” An iconic feud that also involved Kim’s daughter Brielle Biermann.
Eva continued, “Nene went on this huge rampage — I mean, despising this woman. The moment that she doesn’t get along with her coworkers, now she wants [Kim] back.”

Kenya Moore tried her best to play it cool and claimed she doesn’t pay attention to NeNe, but we all know that’s not true. However, she did weigh in on NeNe’s push for a Phaedra Parks comeback. Kenya commented, “I mean, she’s just an idiot to me and just very low-brow and has zero class and no brain at all.”
After that long-winded insult, Kenya claimed, “So, I just don’t put any energy into it, honestly. I would be looking for my brain cells around that I’ve lost for thinking about her.” This is energy “not putting any energy” into something? Sure, girl. Sure.
