Looks like Lance Bass is (finally) done with Jax Taylor.
In a new interview, the former *NSYNC member opened up about his decision to distance himself from the Vanderpump Rules OG over his history of controversial comments.
Lance spilled the tea on his working relationship during a new episode of his podcast, The Daily Popcast with Lance Bass. (The two started alcohol mixers company Just Add X, with Jax as the face of the brand. Because the company’s initials spell…J.A.X. Get it? Cue eye roll.)
“It’s gonna cost him everything and he’s stepping down from Just Add X, which you know, we have to,” he said according to Page Six. “We can’t be involved and associated with any of this going down. We have to do the right thing.”

The backlash against Pump Rules continues to grow in the wake of Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute being fired for their past racist actions towards Faith Stowers. And many fans have called for Jax and his wife Brittany Cartwright to be fired along with the other OGs.
For his part, Jax has a well-documented history of spewing insensitive, bigoted and downright hateful rhetoric on social media. Even just this season, he snidely discredited Ariana Madix for being bisexual during Watch What Happens Live. (Instead of recognizing her identity, Jax continually insisted she was a “lesbian.” He even doubled down when Andy Cohen called him out on the under-the-breath comment.)

Meanwhile, Brittany has gotten dragged into the racism scandal surround treatment of Faith. She denies any wrongdoing, though Faith insists otherwise. At this point it’s up to the audience (and the network) who to believe.
And don’t even get me started on how the couple handled the entire homophobic pastor debacle ahead of their wedding. Interestingly, Lance was the person who stepped up to marry them after their choice in pastor was lambasted across social media for his offensive, anti-LGBTQ history. Though it seems the openly gay boy bander has officially severed ties with the problematic Pump Rules star once and for all.

“I do not see Bravo keeping him,” Lance concluded on the podcast. “This will keep getting bigger and bigger.”
Hmm…wonder what his good pal Lisa Vanderpump will think about that. Either way, Lance should consider renaming the alcohol mixers to save the brand from officially getting Jax‘d completely.
