Braunwyn Windham-Burke’s shoulders are super strong since she’s carrying all the storylines for the next few seasons of Real Housewives of Orange County. In the first episode, Braunwyn told frenemy Emily Simpson that she’s an alcoholic. Since then, we’ve learned that production kept her alcoholism under wraps during her first season and a crew member accompanied her to her first AA meeting.
The other bombshell Braunwyn dropped is that her and her husband, Sean Burke, are no longer living together. The couple is currently “redefining what marriage means.” Oh and that she has a new special someone in her life who is likely a woman. According to her RHOC cast mate, Gina Kirschenheiter, Braunwyn’s family “is in crisis.” Or are they?
People have been saying since last season that Sean is Gay. The statement necklaces, open collars, and high heels indicate gayness for people like Vicki Gunvalson. Once again, Braunwyn is coming to defend Sean’s heterosexuality. Comments By Bravo reposted a picture of Braunwyn and Sean together, showing a troll’s comment that said, “And hes gay.”

Braunwyn replied to the troll, writing, “no sweetie, that’s me. He’s straight.” Interesting. Honestly, do you Braunwyn! If she is coming out and identifying as gay, good for her, I admire the bravery. Plus she’s said before she’s more attracted to women than men. Or is she just telling a troll to take a seat? We won’t really know until we get further clarification.

For now, I’d say as long as her and Sean appear to be on good terms, let’s leave it alone until the reunion until they want to open up more. I imagine it would be difficult to feel like you could be 100 percent yourself with a mom like Dr. Deb. So, if anything, let’s hope Braunwyn is getting whatever support she needs during this time.
