Real Housewives of Orange County is only a few episodes in. So far, we have seen some big changes and already, big drama. It seems that everyone has moved, some of them being in the same exact neighborhood. And we had a new addition to the cast, Elizabeth Lyn Vargas. The jury is still out on her for me.
But one thing we can always rely on when it comes to RHOC is the fashion. More like, lackthereof. Does everyone remember OC Fashion Week? Aside from a crazy lady with a microphone, it was underwhelming to say the least. Many of us (more like all of us) were shocked to even realize that OC Fashion Week existed. I’m still shook.
Now cast member Gina Kirschenheiter of all people is here to dig deeper into her thoughts on who is the best and worst dressed in Orange County this year.
Gina tells Us Weekly that the best dressed award goes to Kovid Kelly Dodd. Gina said simply, “I think Kelly is the best dressed, honestly.” So Kelly may be a covid denier but at least she looks good? If I’m being honest, I don’t even think Kelly dresses that well but I guess the bar is pretty low in OC.

While Gina has horrible taste in fashion, she is at the very least honest. Of being the worst dressed of the cast and said, “It’s probably me!”
She explained, “That’s just because I don’t put, like, max effort. I’m just more, like, really who I am, which is like, ‘I’m sorry if it’s Mom’s night and I’m with my kids all day.’” Ok that’s fair but being “who you really are” doesn’t go hand and hand with a reality show, ironically. And I for one am not one of those people who need all of my housewives to be aspirational with wealth.

I think it’s fine that Gina lives in a modest house and isn’t in designer clothes. I like that about her. But that doesn’t excuse those horrid extensions she’s wearing. At least get those right, girl.
Gina concluded, “I’m just gonna not really brush my hair and put a sweater on and go, you know? This is what it is.” Yeah, we noticed, as per my statement above. But if Gina is going to stay on the show and be a wash and go gal, the very least she can do is bring us something more than fighting over whether or not someone called her house “sad”. Maybe it is sad. But it’s time to contribute more to the show than just an upgraded casita.
