Real Housewives Of New York Star Ramona Singer Is Trying A New Career In High-End Real Estate

Is there anything Ramona Singer can’t do? The Real Housewives of New York star likes making money. She finds it an aphrodisiac. When Ramona isn’t busy selling her soul, you can find her hustling. She has sold jewelry. She stepped into the skin care market to renew herself several times. But she might be most famous for her undying devotion to wine, because “Turtle Time can now become part of your hourly daily routine” too…

Fans of RHONY are well-versed in riding the Ramonacoaster. Her alter ego who will take you on a jaunt across the Brooklyn Bridge to say you have no friends, or publicly shame you for having a mental illness. Some say Ramona has personality issues and others feel she’s full blown nuts. With any luck, her attitude won’t hinder her latest venture. Ramona’s new career move requires people skills and a positive attitude. Well… let’s just hope for the best. Good luck, world of high-end real estate.

Is this why Fredrik Eklund packed his husband, kids, impressive suit collection and moved to LA? Was he intimidated at the thought of taking a ride on The Coaster? Was it Ramona’s polarizing wide-eyed stare or the fact that she has not 59 but 60 friends? Whatever the reason, Ramona is about to take over the Big Apple – or at least the residential parts.

According to The New York Post, you may soon call one of Ramona’s personalities to assist you in finding a home in NYC. “The bubbly blonde is studying for her New York real estate license. She doesn’t have it yet, but when she does, she is slated to join Michael Lorber’s star team at Douglas Elliman.” Excuse me, has no one shown Mikey episodes of RHONY? He may want to walk back that job offer.

Ramona became familiar with the Douglas Elliman firm when choosing them to rep the sale of her Upper East Side apartment for $4 million. I’m not sure ‘ol Mona is fully aware this job requires catering to other people. Because I can very clearly see this woman hosting an open house and then yelling at an invited agent for not bringing tea and scones for her to enjoy.

Not for nothing, I am one viewer that would LOVE to see this come to fruition on RHONY. I will beg the gods of Dorothy Zbornak to have cameras follow Ramona as she struggles not to insult a potential buyer for wearing white after Labor Day. Or capture Ramona’s journey to real estate glory whilst hiding her disgust at someone’s home décor. This would be Bravo gold. If production could have an apology counter at the top of the screen during one of her work days, it would be a brand new drinking game. Ramona’s new career isn’t just good for her, it will be good for all of us.
