Southern Charm has had a few infamous pets grace our screens. Who could forget the darling relationship between Craig Conover and his beloved Gizmo? Viewers must also remember the little cutie patootie Elvis who spent time with Cameran Eubanks’ family, despite not being their official family pet.
For anyone who dropped interest in Cam’s story after her departure from the show, you may not know that Elvis was eventually gifted to the Eubanks family when his own family moved from Charleston. Elvis was an absolute icon on Cam’s Instagram. Followers went insane when he and baby Palmer dressed as Patricia Altschul and Michael The Butler for Halloween. He was also just a complete sweetie.
Unfortunately, Cam announced this week that Elvis has passed. She posted a sweet photo of Palmer hugging the pooch to Instagram with a caption that read, “Elvis went to heaven yesterday.”
Cameran took time to thank her followers as well. She wrote, “Thank you all for loving him. He was a special little guy who brought joy to so many people. Jason [Wimberly] wanted to bury him under a magnolia tree in the country…I’m sure it will be the most Beautiful tree. The Pastor who married us and Christened Palmer said some beautiful words. He said God gave us animals and we will be with them again.”

Fellow cast-members lit up the post with love. Leva Bonaparte, who has defended Cam all season said, “Ugh it’s soooo hard. Sorry babe! Tell Jason especially sorry.” Shep Rose added “That’s sad, but what a fun little life he had. And now… a tree!”
Patricia commented, “I’m so very sorry…. You all gave him the best possible life. He won the doggie lottery when you adopted him.” Madison Simon, who is best known for firing Kathryn Dennis from Gwynns, wrote, “I’m so sorry Cam! Breaks my heart. RIP sweet Elvis” Even Landon Clements chimed in, “love our Angel pups.”

Others from the Bravosphere sent their regards as well. Captain Lee Rosbach, who has experienced his own deep loss this year shared, “Cam, I have no words to ease the pain, just sorry. But there is no doubt he lived his best life with you and the family. Sleep well little guy.” Former Housewife Gretchen Rossi said, “Ahh I’m just so sorry for your guys loss. He brought all of us so much joy. Sending love and healing prayers.” Meghan King Edmonds added, “I’m so sorry for your loss, Cam. What a special story and special love. You’ve been blessed. May the angels carry you now.”
As Bravo fans, we’ve had our share of puppy losses, but it never gets easier. Smooch your fur babies and hug them tight!
