Is anyone missing Real Housewives of New York? I am and I’m scared it won’t come back when it’s supposed to because it keeps getting shut down mid-production. These RHONY women don’t seem to understand we’re in a pandemic. Ramona Singer has been spotted out and about this past year acting easy breezy about social distancing and mask-wearing. Meanwhile, Luann De Lesseps was just spotted in Florida.
Newcomer Leah McSweeney was not the one to let any of this behavior slide during the RHONY reunion. Of all the women, her and Dorinda Medley came down on Ramona the hardest. Now it looks like Leah and Dorinda are getting heat from people for dining outside and getting close for a picture.
According to The Sun, Leah and Dorinda recently showed their friendship, “was real despite the show as they reunited to grab lunch on Friday.” They dined outside, “with a space heater.” All of this sounds generally fine, plus maybe her and Dorinda were recently tested, who knows. The article however points out that, “neither reality TV star kept social distance as they pressed together and smiled at the camera.”
The picture they took was posted to Leah’s Instagram. The caption was simple enough, stating, “ILYSM” to Dorinda. It didn’t take long for the comments to show up. “One fan told Leah: ‘But what about Covid-19? You gave Ramona such a hard time’.”

Leah replied to the follower saying, “do you not see the difference between acting like you’re on Spring Break during the height of Covid deaths and this photo? Moron!” Leah is not one to mince words. And yes, there is a bit of difference!
Dorinda replied to the same comment Leah did, reminding the fan, “outside dining!” In their defense the tables looked distanced from other groups, and again, maybe they were both tested before the lunch. It is a bit different than Luann and Ramona partying mask-less with a bunch of people in COVID hotspots. But what do I know? Other than the fact that Housewives will apparently do whatever they want.
