Tinsley Mortimer departed from the Real Housewives of New York to chase her fairytale delusions fantasies with Scott Kluth in Chicago. And it was going well — they were engaged and had puppies that they treated more like children. And then, the fantasy fell apart when the two called off their engagement earlier this month.
The RHONY It-Girl left EVERYTHING to be with the Coupon King — her home, her friends and her job. And now it seems like it was all for nothing and she was apparently “blindsided” by the split. Meanwhile, Scott claims they’ve been over for months and Tins wasn’t getting the memo. Honestly, I could see both sides, but Tinsley did pull out some receipts from Valentine’s Day that signal they were an item quite recently.
Now that Tinsley is single, she’s apparently looking to get her job back on Bravo according to Page Six. An “insider” of the cast claims that one of the current housewives said Tinsley is “begging” to be back next season. And why wouldn’t she? She brought a lot to the show — Dale Mercer, the iconic pool scene with Sonja Morgan and Leah McSweeney and the unfortunate dark side of Dorinda Medley. Tinsley was doing well on the show until she dropped out mid-season. She seemingly moved onto bigger and better things in the Midwest.
Bravo sources deny that Tinsley has contacted the network about returning since the split. And her friends told Page Six that she’s too heartbroken to think about her next move. But the fans’ support and desire for her to return has been helping Tins push through the tears. I often forget that Tinsley is a 45-year-old woman and not a young socialite, and this is one of those moments.

“They really do want her back — it’s very heartwarming,” the source told Page Six.
This same person said, “They have created countless memes … about how they want her back on the show. Having supportive fans like that is really comforting when you go through such a heartbreaking life situation.”
This “source” sounds like it has to be either Tinsley herself, or Dale.
