Below Deck viewers have come to learn the trends of employment in the yachting industry. It’s a demanding job that requires months away from family and a stable life. People that stay in the industry long-term take that demand happily to pursue their dreams. Others enjoy the experience in their youth, then decide to change careers in favor of something else. For women especially, there is a shelf life.
Many Below Deck Mediterranean fans cheered Hannah Ferrier last season as she returned to land life, got engaged, and had a baby girl. It’s what she was hoping for, and now, there is another fan favorite who decided to pursue her dreams of motherhood.
Dani Soarse is the steadfast and competent second stew of Below Deck Sailing Yacht. She started hooking up with much younger crew member Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux and confessed to be very aware of their age difference. But in the end, she said it was only in the spirit of having fun in the present. There is no indication that their boat-mance lasted past the season. They don’t follow each other on social media, and Dani is based in Sydney, Australia while Jean-Luc went back to the United States.
Dani mentioned her desire to become a mother during the season and it looks like since then, Dani’s baby fever was still going strong because over the weekend, she announced her pregnancy.
In and Instagram post, Dani shared a picture of her bump with the caption, “it’s just you an I little baby.” The mother-to-be looks fantastic in a black tank top an black thong. Dani looks to be in her third trimester, but she did not confirm a due date.

Dani also did not reveal the identity of the baby’s father, except to say that she will be raising the baby as a single mother. Followers speculated whether Jean-Luc was the father, but again, there is no indication that they are still together.
Many former Below Deck cast members sent congratulations, including Hannah, who invited Dani to meet with the baby.
“Gorgeous!!!,” Hannah wrote, “play dates in Sydney it is.”
Izzy Wouters wrote, “love you girl! So so sooooo proud of you incredible lady.”
Cast alum from the previous Below Deck Sailing Yacht season Ciara Duggan added, “awww congratulations!!!”

Dani’s interior crew mate, and someone that stayed close with her after the season ended, Alli Dore wrote, “beautiful incredible brave woman. I am so proud of you and you always have support from my family and I. I promise;”
