In case you somehow haven’t heard through the grapevine, there’s some serious drama going down with the ladies of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. And yes, the season just ended. And no, it’s not about Bolo. Porsha Williams and Falynn Guobadia’s ex, Simon Guobadia, are engaged. Like, to be married. Fresh off of Falynn and Simon’s split that was announced just a few weeks ago. If the timeline isn’t making sense to you, you’re definitely not alone.
Porsha broke the internet by first posting a photo of herself, Simon and her baby daddy Hot Dog Dennis McKinley, with quite the rock on her finger. After making fans crazy, P made an official announcement proclaiming that she and Simon have been in a relationship for a month. And doubling down that she isn’t friends with Falynn, even though she was the one who brought her on RHOA. Truly a whirlwind of news.
Every Bravo fan and their mother has had something to say about this, including aunties Kenya Moore and Marlo Hampton. But Porsha is silencing the haters, literally, after receiving some backlash about her new relationship. She posted a photo of herself with the caption, “Smile God is GOOD!! #BlessedNHighlyFavored.” She later edited the caption to add, “Ps: My phone is blowing up ! Thank you all for the love and support and the many well wishes !! I promise I’ll hit you back when I can.”

In the comments, fans couldn’t help but share their strong opinions about her new relationship. “What happened to close your legs to married men Porsha damn,” someone wrote. “God is good. You sholl aint,” another commented. Many of the comments are simply “Girl” or “Oh nah Porsha….” which is really all that has to be said about the situation. “Porsha guuurl. I’m tryna live like you this summer,” another fan commented.

After the backlash, Porsha limited the comments allowed on her Instagram. Like she said, her phone is probably blowing up, but it’s probably not all exactly in support of the news. And despite her introduction of Falynn to the group, the two (to no surprise) unfollowed one another on Instagram after the news broke. Simon’s Instagram comments are turned off too, which shows just what kind of response people are giving the new happy couple. At this point, Falynn needs a peach for the sake of her telling her side of the story. And team up with Marlo and Twirl to get to the bottom of this shady mess.
