I don’t understand how every Real Housewives of New York fan isn’t a major Sonja Morgan stan. Sonja has brought so much throughout her decade on the show, even though her storyline’s been pretty much the same the entire time. She’s the straw that stirs the drink, with a whole lot of A-list glinted stories to tell anyone who’s listening. And even if she’s falling out of her chair or screaming about the Morgan family legacy, she gets right back up and keeps partying. My kind of girl.
It’s also clear that Sonjarita doesn’t have a malicious bone in her body. This season of RHONY, she’s the only one who understands where Eboni K. Williams is coming from in terms of racial microaggressions and white privilege. Points for Sonja. She’s just too kind for this world, which is why my heart breaks for her that she’s having another rough year of dealing with her townhouse and kissing a lot of frogs. But I hope that now Eboni is standing up for Miss Sexy J, especially when it comes to Luann de Lesseps and Ramona Singer’s petty attacks, Sonja will be coming into her own. And bring back more of her fun-loving personality.
Sonja recently returned to the Bravo Clubhouse on Watch What Happens Live to talk all things RHONY. And needless to say, she was lit. And ready to share her stories. In one clip, Andy Cohen asks Sonja about her summer plans and it somehow turns into a tale of how she met the legendary Frank Sinatra. Total Sonja move.
It began when Sonja told Andy she just wanted to “get through tonight” when he asked about her summer plans. “Hey, Sinatra said, whatever it takes,” she responded.

Andy, with his curiosity piqued, asked Sonjarita if she ever met the iconic crooner. “I did,” Sonja replied, going into a story of how she met him at a restaurant. “I was there with my boyfriend and his parents and he came up,” she began. Only would this happen to Sonja on a date with her boo’s parents.
And here’s where the best part comes in — “He’s a Sagittarius, like me, which I told him,” Sonja continued. Of course, Sonja would be one to bring up astrology to Frank Sinatra. Again, how could you not love her? “He just said hi to my boyfriend’s parents and I said hello,” she continued. Lady Morgan, I need a tell-all book about your life ASAP. Either before or after your toaster oven drops, please and thank you.
