Lisa Rinna's Daughter Amelia Hamlin And Scott Disick Reportedly Broke Up

Sounds like Sutton Stracke was right — the relationship with Kardashian insider Scott Disick and Lisa Rinna’s daughter Amelia Gray Hamlin wasn’t going to last. But she seems to be on the right side of history a lot these days — especially when it comes to making Erika Jayne answer tough questions on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But I can’t get into that mess right now — the Amelia and Scott story is quite a wild ride of its own.

According to E! News, Amelia reportedly broke up with Scott over the weekend. Their “sources” say that Scott agreed that he needed to be single before he finds the next 19-year-old girl to date. “They had a lot of fun together but it was never going to be a long-term relationship,” the source added. Is this source just Sutton herself?

Amelia and Scott spent 11-months together, most of those he didn’t even follow his girlfriend on Instagram. In the words of Kyle Richards, Scott was just “too damn old” for Rinna’s supermodel daughter. And it seemed like he was going through a midlife crisis in front of our eyes. But the real reason for the split is even more salacious — involving Scott clearly not being over his ex and baby mama Kourtney Kardashian.

In case you haven’t heard, Kourtney is living her best life with her new boo Travis Barker. The two have been traveling the world on a PDA-filled jaunt, and apparently, it rubbed Scott the wrong way. Kourtney’s other ex, Younes Bendjima, leaked alleged Instagram DMs from Scott shading Kravis, according to Page Six. Scott sent a photo of the couple writing, “Yo is this chick ok!???? Broooo like what is this. In the middle of Italy.” Younes wasn’t here for a bro bashing session, responding with “Doesn’t matter to me as long as she’s happy. PS: i aint your bro.” BURN.

Younes shared a screenshot writing, “Keep the same energy you had about me publicly, privately.” In another Instagram story he wrote, “couldn’t miss this one. He been playing around for too long, tired to stay quiet and be the nice guy.”

So how does this relate to Rinna’s daughter? Well, apparently she was pissed her boyfriend was spending his time talking smack about his ex. E! Online‘s sources say that the pair have been arguing a lot recently, and the DMS “sent Amelia over the edge.” “She was very embarrassed over the whole situation and Scott wasn’t very remorseful. It’s really hard to date Scott because he will never fully be over Kourtney,” the insider continued. “The split was a long time coming and many of their friends agree it’s for the best.” I bet Rinna and Harry Hamlin are celebrating that this “phase” in their daughter’s life is over.

Page Six also reports that Amelia seemingly shaded Scott over the DMs on her Instagram Story. She posted a photo of her friends wearing a white tank top emblazoned with the words “Don’t you have a girlfriend?” in pink lettering. Subtle shade. Prior to the news of the split, E! News reported that the pair were taking time apart because they “needed a break from each other,” according to a source. Clearly since Scott was obviously having a meltdown anytime Kourt posted a pic with her hot new bad boy. You snooze, you lose.

Another source told the outlet that Scott was “mortified” by the alleged DMS to Younes, adding, “He had a low moment and was looking to someone who could relate to his feelings, and immediately regretted sending that message.” OK, but did he regret it before or after Younes put him on blast? No wonder Amelia was allegedly “very disappointed” in her older boo.

And most recently, Amelia seemingly confirmed the split with a moody Instagram story, reposted by @LoveAndyC on Twitter. She shared an inspirational quote that reads, “Never settle for less. Not with your job, your friends, and especially not with your heart. Continue to seek what you are looking for and do not shrink yourself for the sake of other people. You deserve the best.” Amelia wrote “this is it” over the post, so that’s basically enough confirmation for me.
