Love her, hate her, or tolerate her, Kenya Moore is back dropping more bombs on us unsuspecting bystanders. Recently, Kenya revealed that she wouldn’t much mind it if Real Housewives of Atlanta alum and former sparring mate Phaedra Parks were back holding a peach.
Kenya spoke with Entertainment Tonight regarding RHOA season 14 casting rumors. She confirmed that there is going to be a “shake up.” Additionally, she hopes there will be new faces as well as some OGs in the mix. It would seem as though the former drama beauty queen has grown tired of fighting with Porsha Williams (or vice versa) and is looking forward to instead fighting with her favorite frenemies of years past. Kenya’s picks to return include Phaedra as well as Sheree Whitfield.
While at first you may be thinking that Kenya may have bumped her head on the ballroom dancefloor in rehearsals for Dancing with the Stars and regained consciousness although with a rare form of amnesia that causes her to forget who her friends are, that may not be the case.
Her angling for her longtime nemesis Phaedra to return to the show makes sense. The show’s ratings were at an all-time low last season. And even Bolo and his thang couldn’t save the declining viewership of the former crown jewel of the franchise.
Kenya is probably just as bored as the rest of us was with the current lineup and is longing for a fun yet familiar face. And no one reads like Phaedra Parks, Esquire. While her girls, Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey are loyal allies, they just don’t bring the fire like Ms. Parks does.

Kenya pointed out that Phaedra is a fan favorite. And the legendary shady southern belle certainly made her mark during her seven seasons on the show. Unfortunately, she fell out of favor when she was revealed to be the source of the nasty rumor that Kandi was planning to drug and drag Porsha to her “sex dungeon.” That false allegation, started by someone trusted with upholding the laws of the land, no less, put a huge stain on Phaedra’s reputation and she subsequently did not return to the show after Season 9.
Since then, Phaedra has mostly stayed out of the limelight which was probably for the best. And since life before 2020 is a blur to us all, that whole sex dungeon debacle seems like nothing but a distant memory. It was even put to bed (no pun intended) by Kandi herself, who created a whole risqué burlesque show around it in Season 11. And the dungeon shenanigans of Season 13 pretty much buried all beef between she and Porsha. Because even though what happened in Charleston didn’t stay in Charleston– thanks to Kenya— Kandi did keep Porsha’s escapades as under wraps as she could during the trip.

Kenya also stated who she would NOT like to see back on the show. She wouldn’t want to face any of her “enemies.” We’ll that is quite an undertaking for RHOA producers. Try and find an OG cast member Kenya is actually friends with. Sorry Ken, Claudia Jordan is busy somewhere running her own show. So good luck with that request!
