One thing that Real Housewives of Potomac fans have learned about Wendy Osefo is her support and love for family. She’s weathered a marital union that wasn’t approved by her in-laws. And we’ve seen Wendy take on RHOP costars Gizelle Bryant, Robyn Dixon, and Ashley Darby over a vicious rumor that could have impacted her marriage. When they brought up tabloid fodder that Eddie Osefo had an affair, Wendy brought her most ferocious to the table.
And it’s been lingering all season, but all that drama means nothing when health issues hit home. Last week, while en route to appear on The Real Daytime, Wendy rushed home due to a medical emergency. Her daughter, Kamyrnn Kapri had to be taken to the emergency room and ended up spending a week in ICU.
Wendy posted about the harrowing moment on a recent Instagram post,“one minute I’m headed to LA to be a guest on @therealdaytime and the next minute I have to rush my daughter to the Emergency Room. When life gives you lemons (no matter how bitter it is) you make a glass of lemonade. Thankful that my @kamrynnkapri is making a full recovery, but spending a week in the ICU really puts life in perspective.”
Wendy then thanked the medical team that pulled her daughter through crisis. She also acknowledged her RHOP costars who all appeared on The Real Daytime last week. “Goodluck to my RHOP sisters and @ashleyboalchdarby for holding it down in my absence,” Wendy wrote to caption a listing of the cast lineup on The Real Daytime, “special thank you to the AMAZING doctors and nurses in the Pediatric ICU for making our stay as comfortable as possible. God is a healer.”

Thankfully, Kamyrnn was discharged and is back home with her loving family. Wendy posted some Halloween pictures. Though Kamyrnn was not able to go trick-or-treating this year, she had a lot of fun dressing up as Minnie Mouse. Wendy captioned the sweet images with words of gratitude.
She wrote, “My baby @kamrynnkapri is home and I could not be happier!! Although she will not be participating in trick-or-treat this year, she still wanted to dress up in her Minnie Mouse costume and I obliged! I want to thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of my heart for the countless well wishes, prayers, text, phone calls, and everything in-between. In this moment I felt surrounded by love and I wish the same to all of you. You all are so amazing and I am forever grateful.”
Welcome home, Kamyrnn!
