Andy Cohen made a huge announcement this week that Bravo was adding a new city to the Real Housewives franchise. And this time, the showrunners are going international. Real Housewives of Dubai will be hitting our TV screens sometime in 2022. Dubai is a city drenched in cash (like Erika Jayne thinks she is in her mind). It makes Beverly Hills look like a dump, if that’s even possible. So the new show is sure to feature glamorous women who are on another level of rich, and I’m here for it.
The cast for RHODubai (or whatever the abbreviation ends up being) has yet to be announced. Rumor has it that Ladies of London star Caroline Stanbury will be at the center, as she lives in Dubai. But otherwise, it’s pretty unknown. But since Andy made the big announcement, fans have been dreaming up their ideal cast members. To no surprise, Lindsay Lohan’s name made the list pretty quickly.

TMZ reports that Lindsay won’t be on the upcoming Real Housewives of Dubai show, even though she already lives in the United Arab Emirates. The sources claim Lindsay was never asked to join the cast, and production would have to shell out a pretty penny to get such a huge name on the show. We can all dream, can’t we? I, for one, am waiting for Lindsay Lohan to make her well-deserved comeback. And if it’s through reality TV, even better. Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club episodes don’t really count to me, either.
TMZ reporters asked Andy about the possibility of LiLo getting a role on the new show. “I love that idea. Do you think Lindsay Lohan would do it?” Andy responded. “I would love it.” Andy is a self-proclaimed Lindsay Lohan fan, so he personally loves the idea. But maybe the network wants to see how the latest city, the first to be filmed internationally by Bravo, takes the ground running before adding someone so controversial. I will keep my fingers crossed in the meantime, though, that LiLo can add the title of “Real Housewives star” to her already stacked (and unique) resume.
