The arrest of Jen Shah will go down in history as one of the greatest episodes of The Real Housewives. As the news unfolded, everyone’s reactions were fascinating to watch. Lisa Barlow calling six lawyers. Heather Gay balling her eyes out. Meredith Marks taking an extremely long bubble bath. It was a lot to take in. But then, at the end of the episode, when all of the women finally came together, we hear a bizarre story from Meredith about how someone from Jen’s entourage allegedly stole a green clutch from her boutique. There was even security camera footage showing the person, whose name was bleeped out from the show, taking a clutch but then returning it the next day.
Despite the video evidence, Jen is adamant that Meredith is lying about what happened that day at the boutique. She’s not backing down. On Instagram, the account @bravowhileblack posted a meme about the incident with the caption, “What the hell is going on in Salt Lake City?” Jen commented on the post, saying, “Other than Meredith lying? Not much.”
Jen shared a similar sentiment on Twitter after the episode aired. One fan tweeted at her, saying, “They doing you dirty tonight queen they telling all your business,” to which Jen replied, “They not telling my business…only lies.”
She’s also taking direct jabs at Meredith. A fan tweeted, “Meredith doesn’t like when someone talks about her or her family but she has no problem running her mouth about everyone else.” Jen retweeted the post adding, “Where’s the lie?”

For someone arrested on national TV and facing a decades-long prison sentence, Jen is surprisingly vocal on social media. Maybe we can blame this on her social media manager? Nonetheless, Jen’s also clapping back at Meredith on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show. When asked about the incident, she said the whole thing was ridiculous and untruthful.
“Why wouldn’t you call me? Because it’s bulls—,” Jen declared in the season 2, episode 10 after-show. “We literally were in there to support your little 200-square-foot swap meet, and I bought some things like I always do to support you. How are you going to twist this into someone stole something?”
