We’re inching closer and closer to the sweet Season 16 of Real Housewives of Orange County, and Heather Dubrow is coming back to save the sinking ship of a show. It’s sure to be interesting to see the show without Kelly Dodd or Braunwyn Windham-Burke. And it’s up in the air whether or not Tamra Judge or Vicki Gunvalson will make a (maybe not-so-welcome) cameo. We have a few newbies in the mix to shake up the cast, and it seems like the show, overall, needs to start a new chapter.
Emily Simpson has been teasing even more drama than was shown in the initial RHOC trailer. Newbie Noella Bergener’s story is sure to ruffle some feathers — money problems, a divorce, and a former friendship with Boringwyn. But according to some internet sleuths, it will also feature the long-awaited moment Emily’s horrible husband passes the bar exam. Yay for the new-age Jim Bellino, I guess?
Reality Blurb reported that Shane has finally passed the bar, as announced in a press release about the show. Shane is currently listed as an “active” attorney working for Benjumea & Associates in Long Beach. He was reportedly admitted into the California State Bar on October 5. Finally, he can go back to seeing his children and maybe even actually celebrating his anniversary with Emily who, let us not forget, is also a working attorney. I won’t hold my breath — my faith in Shane is minimal.

The press release also teased Emily’s storyline, which is based on her plastic surgery, her having a bunch of free time because Shane is busy working (*eye roll*), and preparing for her daughter to be baptized as a Mormon. Alright, I’m not jumping for joy in excitement, but at least Kelly won’t be there.
So good for Shane for finally passing the bar after, let us not forget, flunking four times. I can’t hate — I probably couldn’t do it (who knows, I’m a self-proclaimed expert on Erika Jayne and Jen Shah’s legal cases these days). But let’s hope someday he understands that being busy and stressed isn’t an excuse to be a total jerk to your wife and her friends.
