Ariana Madix has made it clear throughout her time on Vanderpump Rules that babies and marriage are not on her agenda. This is, of course, something that riles certain people up who have only ever aligned life in terms of societal expectations. Even Lisa Vanderpump herself told Ariana that she’d change her mind about having kids when they went horseback riding together. Point being, as women in this country, apparently everyone gets a say in what we do with our bodies and how we live life.
Ariana has had to answer invasive questions about her choices since being on Pump Rules, but now, she’s shutting those questions down for good. People reports that Ariana frozen her eggs. In fact, during last week’s episode, Ariana and Scheana Shay had a conversation about surrogacy. It was Scheana who spilled the beans, saying, “…I actually wanted to ask you about [surrogacy], because I know you froze your eggs also.”
Ariana then said in her confessional, “surprise! I froze my eggs. Me and Scheana were actually going together to freeze our eggs. And then she got pregnant.” Scheana welcomed Summer Moon Honey Davies, her rainbow baby with Brock Davies, in April.

Ariana “disclosed additional details about the process of freezing her eggs,” saying in the confessional, “this does not mean that I’m jumping on the baby train. It’s about having agency over my own body and my own future.” Yes! As someone who just underwent cryopreservation, Ariana’s words mean a lot here.
“It’s also kind of a nice fun f*** you to anybody who questions my values or my choices.” Go girl, do you. Your body, your decision. Pump Rules may look a lot different now, but I’m here for it. The men on the show haven’t changed much. Tom Schwartz, Tom Sandoval, and James Kennedy are still man-children. But props to Ariana and Katie Maloney-Schwartz for being open to talk about very real and difficult issues women have to face.
