Heather Thomson has landed herself in some hot water. The former Real Housewives of New York star only made a brief appearance on the last season, but ever since then, she’s been spilling RHONY tea all over the place. It all started when she was interviewed for Dave Quinn’s tell-all book, Not All Diamonds and Rosé: The Inside Story of The Real Housewives From the People Who Lived It. Heather was doing some serious damage with her claims. But the one that stuck out the most was her allegation that co-star Sonja Morgan let men “put lit cigarettes in her vagina” for fun.
Naturally, fans and fellow housewives were stunned by such a weird claim. Sonja responded to the accusation, posting “liar liar pants on fire” on social media. And Sonja’s castmates came to her defense too, saying that they don’t believe Heather. But then a video of Sonja with Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star Josh Flagg surfaced. In the video, Josh talks about the night when he “stuck a cigarette up her [Sonja’s] vagina.”
As reported by Page Six, Heather used this as an opportunity to tell The Post that she wasn’t lying. Said Heather, “I wasn’t telling a secret. It was this thing they were into for a while. I was not dropping tea in that book. I was talking about something that was public knowledge.”
For his part, Josh claims that it was a joke and that Heather is “full of sh–.” But Heather maintains what she saw. According to her, she was with her husband at the Boom Boom Room in New York when she ran into Sonja and Josh. Heather recalled, “I saw them together and I saw that she had been drinking … and I was keeping an eye on her.” A few minutes later, “I was like, ‘Wait, where is Sonja?’” She found Sonja and Josh on the roof deck, where they were performing a “trick.”

Heather continued, “They were about to show [another man] the trick that they do,” referring to the cigarette in the vagina. When Heather asked what they were doing, they told her, “Yeah, we’ll show you. We make it smoke.” Heather responded, “This is not Moulin Rouge! This guy [Josh] is not your friend. And I took her home. I did what I thought was right and that was [to] remove her from the situation.”
Heather also revealed that she told RHONY producers about concerns with Sonja’s drinking. She added, “I absolutely talked to production when I had concerns that it was getting out of hand and it was dangerous. It was difficult to work with and witness, and I got no response, really.” Heather admits that it was one of the many times that she didn’t see eye to eye with the producers of the show.
Honestly, why is Heather doing this? If she was so concerned about Sonja back then, she shouldn’t be revealing such personal and damaging stories. Even if it’s all these years later. I don’t even think I would do this to an enemy, let alone an old castmate. I think most of us who have watched this show for years can agree that Sonja gets out of control. And probably did/does need some intervention when it comes to her drinking and partying. So coming after Sonja just feels like she’s punching down.

Regardless of what Heather is saying is true or not, I think it’s for the best that she says she’s done with RHONY. Part of being a good housewife is knowing that some things are off limits. And Heather clearly didn’t get the memo.
