I have to say that once I heard that Keeping Up With The Kardashians was ending its run on E!, I thought the uber-famous family would be somewhat stepping out of the spotlight for a little while. Oh, how naive I am to the works of Kris Jenner. In the Kardashian/Jenner world, the hustle never stops. If they can make a quick buck, develop a business or go viral from the mundane moments in their life, they will. Especially when they’re preparing to unveil KUWTK 2.0 on Hulu.
Kim Kardashian in particular has been living quite an interesting life these days. She’s been going through a public divorce with Kanye West, who hasn’t been shy about his aversion to the split. Kanye, who legally changed his name to “Ye” recently, has publically pleaded for the universe to bring him back together with his wife. Kimmy, however, seems to be moving on with none other than SNL’s Pete Davidson of all people. I told you, things are veryyyyy thought-provoking in Kimmy’s world these days. I can’t help but pay attention.
Even though Kim is pushing forward with splitting from Kanye, the pair of parents are getting along pretty well these days. Kim even recently thanked Ye during her acceptance speech for a fashion icon award. But despite Kanye’s pleas, it looks like Kim has no interest in reconciling their marriage.

Page Six reports that Kim recently filed documents to become legally single and drop “West” from her last name. But the filing was just one day after Ye asked Kim to “run back” to him during a benefit concert where Kimmy was IN THE AUDIENCE. Kanye was performing at the Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert last week, New York Post reports. During his song “Runaway,” he ad-libbed the lyrics to call out to his wife. “I need you to run right back to me, more specifically Kimberly,” he sang. Oh lord.
That’s a pretty savage move by Kim, but obviously, there’s more to the story than we’re seeing. The two are talking behind the scenes as things seem amicable between them, so it’s not like the public moments are the only way they’re communicating. However, the timing of Kim’s filing is pretty telling. And it looks like she has no plans to slow down her romance with Professional Boyfriend Pete Davidson.
