Candiace Dillard Bassett had another rough season of Real Housewives of Potomac. All of her own making, of course. Salads were tossed, more enemies were made, and she suffered the embarrassment of a “low budget” music video. Words I honestly don’t think she will ever recover from, although I’m not sure why.
After a proper roasting by guest host Nicki Minaj at the last reunion, Candiace has minded her business for the time being. Maybe it was best to lay low and focus on her “singing career.” But she’s back and ready to talk about her castmates and the drama of last season.
As reported by Reality Blurb, Candiace recently appeared on an episode of the podcast, Lip Service. She started by defending her one lone supporter, Wendy Osefo and her feud with that resident hater, Gizelle Bryant. Said Candiace, “My girl…I love my girl Wen…I feel like they came at her unfairly. But I also think that she…I told someone that she thought that Gizelle was her friend. And that was her mistake. Gizelle is no one’s friend but her own.”

She continued, “She’s loyal to Robyn [Dixon], yes. But she’s also about the show and she will do whatever. And she’ll come for whomever if she thinks is going to make the show do well, which I respect. Someone once said to me you have to respect your villains. And I respect her for that.”
Ok, 1) I need to know who told Candiace to respect your villains. Because I would would be willing to bet money that it was Karen Huger. Was that an actual reunion moment or one of my housewives fever dreams? 2) does Candiace not realize that she is a villain? So who is respecting her?
