Kelly Dodd is on another Twitter tirade. I mean, I shouldn’t even be acting like they are anything but normal for her at this point. I’m not sure what the former Real Housewives of Orange County cast member actually does anymore outside of talk about housewives? It’s all she talks about on her podcast, she was fired from her supposedly very successful beverage line, and she tweets….about housewives. Constantly. Clearly, she’s living in the past. And if she ever stumbles upon this article and rips me to shreds, you guys have my back right??
As reported by Reality Blurb, Kelly’s latest Twitter activity was about everything from RHOC’s ratings, to her nemesis Heather Dubrow. She even made time to talk about her infamous firing. It all started when Kelly apparently stumbled across an article posted on Twitter. The article featured Heather’s denial that she was in control of casting for the series. Just for petty’s sake, I’m going to point out that Kelly wasn’t even tagged in this post.
Kelly angrily replied to the article, “SHE HAD ME FIRED!! The mistake Bravo made WAS to let me go!! I would’ve taken this POS DOWN! HD got kiss-a–es [Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter], awful to watch & it’s why ratings suck!!!” Insert Lisa Rinna Oof, you’re so angry gif. And remember, this isn’t the first time Kelly has complained about ratings. Not that long ago, she got into the specifics with former boss, Andy Cohen. Why is she so obsessed with their ratings? Honestly.

In her next tweet, Kelly responded to a fan directly. The fan wrote, “You would have to watch @kellydlevethal from her first season. She’s honestly the most “misunderstood” (read: negatively edited) out of the group. Heather is understood exactly like she is, critical and calculated. Maybe people like that now?” To which Kelly replied, “Totally!! She is evil!! Anyone that puts money first is evil!”
Kelly went on to address her firing, which she has discussed ad nauseam since it happened almost 10 months ago. Kelly maintained in her tweet, “I got an overwhelming amount comments that said I got myself fired! I got my self fired for having an oppositional opinion from the network? I’d rather be authentic and truthful and have my dignity than to be N a toxic environment. I have ‘let it go’ I get written about daily.” I mean, girl. You go out of your way to make it your whole personality on social media and your podcast.

Finally, Kelly ended with another controversial opinion. A fan wrote, “I feel like Tamra [Judge] will add the finishing touches to the [RHOC] revamp next season!” Kelly’s response read, “100 percent she needs to be back!”
Well, despite Tamra being a polarizing figure, I do think that RHOC needs some additional work after this season. And it’s not even finished yet. But the vibe is off and Heather hasn’t really done much outside of threaten Shannon Beador and throw lavish dinner parties. I don’t know if that means Tamra should come back. But what I do know is that Kelly never was the answer for making RHOC a good watch. She was one of the main reasons it was unbearable to enjoy.
