Season 12 of Real Housewives of New Jersey was simply fire. I love the Jersey ladies. When Margaret Josephs asked questions about Teresa Giudice’s fiancé, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, all hell broke loose. Let’s face it–Louie has an interesting past. Margaret alleged that Louie was a “sex addict” with “a history of abuse.”
Louie’s ex-fiancée filed court papers in 2020, claiming that Louie exhibited “controlling and abusive behavior.” The lawsuit was later dismissed.
Louie also appeared in a bizarre warrior camp video. The entire RHONJ cast was talking about it, and Teresa and Louie finally addressed it. Teresa kept trying to silence her man, but he finally explained the video. Sort of. Basically, he made no sense.
“[He said] to me, ‘You don’t intimidate me on your best day,'” Margaret stated. “It’s a very aggressive way to speak.”
Louie also recently dealt with some financial issues. He was sued for over $100k by a vendor, and his company filed for bankruptcy. Better get that prenup, Teresa. Just saying.
Teresa was determined to protect her man from any criticism. During a drama-filled dinner in Nashville, Teresa blamed Margaret for leaking information about Louie’s past to the blogs. Margaret called Teresa a liar, and then Teresa shoved plates and glasses across the table onto Margaret. Nothing good ever happens over a meal on RHONJ. It was difficult for Margaret to watch that scene back because she could hear Teresa threatening to beat her up.
The next night, Teresa issued a weak apology to the group, but claimed that her violent actions were provoked. And she didn’t even mention Margaret. Earlier this season, Teresa fat-shamed Margaret during Dolores Catania’s charity softball game. Body-shaming is never okay.
During the RHONJ finale in Nashville, Teresa and Margaret continued to squabble, and Louie lost his composure. He told Teresa they were leaving and boasted loudly about moving into their 15,000 square foot house. Not the best look, Louie.
People reported that during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Margaret shared that her opinion of Louie has changed. Say what now?
“He spoke a lot at the reunion. I think he said some very valid things at the reunion, and I was very impressed with him there,” Margaret stated. What magical statements did Louie make to change her mind?

Reflecting on Teresa’s table-clearing stunt in Nashville, Margaret said that she “did not think it was going to go to that level.” Margaret also told host Andy Cohen that she never leaked any details about Louie to the blogs. Margaret remarked, “No, I did not. They don’t need me to talk to the blogs.”
In a trailer for the Season 12 reunion, Louie was once again the hot topic. Andy ran down a list of rumors about Louie and asked him if “any of it” is “true.” When Margaret said that Louie “lied on camera,” Teresa told her RHONJ co-star to “shut up.”
Something tells me that the cast won’t be hugging it out at the end of the reunion this time. Margaret hasn’t spoken to Teresa since the reunion, and neither has her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga. It will be interesting to see how the relationships evolve from this point.
