Tamra Judge is known for always telling it like it is. So is Teresa Giudice. So what happens when the two opinionated housewives from different coasts collide? Apparently an unfollowing on Instagram. The former Real Housewives of Orange County star recently got herself kicked off Tre’s follow list. All thanks to some comments she made about Tre’s fiance, Luis “Louie” Ruelas.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey OG spent all season defending Louie’s honor against unsavory allegations. So what’s one more housewife to go up against? As reported by Page Six, Tamra explained what happened on an episode of her podcast, Two T’s In A Pod. Tamra stated, “So Teresa unfollowed me because I said that Louie gives me Brooks [Ayers] vibes — you know, Brooks Ayers from ‘Orange County,’ Vicki [Gunvalson]’s boy.” Brooks famously tried to swindle Vicki and the rest of the RHOC into believing that he had cancer. He later admitted that he faked medical records that he used to try and convince them.
But according to Tamra, her comparison wasn’t as unflattering as it seemed. Tamra clarified, “I said that because [of] the affirmation.” Here she’s referring to Louie taking Tre on a boat ride for their anniversary. He presented her with a scroll listing all the reasons he loves her. Tamra added, “Nothing more than that, because he was very big on the affirmations, and I said it right after he did that whole scrolling thing.”
Co-host Teddi Mellencamp jumped in and agreed with Tamra’s assessment. Teddi stated that “there’s just something [she doesn’t] trust about” Louie. And that something “doesn’t feel right” to her. While Teddi didn’t elaborate on what that “something” is, Louie has plenty of allegations against him to suggest he might not be trustworthy. Like the RHONJ has been saying all along. Not to mention fans.
Tamra first made the Brooks comparison on a previous episode of the pod, where Margaret Josephs was a guest. Marge and Tre fought all season over Louie. Which ultimately ended in Teresa throwing food and drinks on Marge during a fight in Nashville.
Tamra told Margaret at the time, “I learned my lesson with Vicki when she was dating Brooks. I knew he was not a good guy, I know he wasn’t the guy for her, but I spoke out about it, and it backfired in my face.” She admitted, “At the end of the day, obviously, I was right, but it was so cringey the things he would do and say and the multiple cards. Luis is doing the exact same thing that Brooks would do to Vicki.”
