At long last, our Real Housewives of Atlanta peaches are back and better than ever. Sheree Whitfield is back and finally ready to debut her She by Sheree joggers after literally YEARS of waiting. Marlo Hampton has her LONG OVERDUE peach in her hand and is ready to use it. And someway, somehow, Drew Sidora got a second season. One of these things is not exciting as the others.
Drew was a lot during her first season of RHOA. She tried (and failed) to read the shady queen Kenya Moore and it was cringy to watch. Latoya Ali had a pretty fun time messing with Drew, but she won’t have to worry about that this season. What Drew is still dealing with (for some godforsaken reason) is her mess of a husband Ralph Pittman. Yeah, remember all the nonsense we had to hear about Tampa during Season 13? Unfortunately, I do too.
Ralph was back on his B.S. during the first episode of the season. Drew revealed her husband was getting flirty with his assistant, yet he took no accountability whatsoever. Are we shocked? No. She needs to worry about dropping HIM with Drew as soon as possible. According to a recent interview with Us Weekly, the thought has crossed her mind.
While Drew and Ralph are trying to work things out, she says she realizes it’s not an easy choice to stay committed. “It always feels like we’re almost about to get divorced,” she said. “We’re not gonna give up.” Drew also commented on the rollercoaster nature of their marriage, which she’s apparently just accepted as normal. To each their own.
Drew also spoke about the difficulty of dealing with her marriage problems on a reality TV show. “I sometimes hate that it’s all out there, but anybody that knows my husband, like, he does not put on for the camera,” she added. Girl, I don’t know if that’s something to brag about. It’s worse to know that Ralph’s on-screen behavior is how he actually acts IRL.
The RHOA star claimed to like that her husband has to watch their problems play out on TV. She liked being able to ask her cast members to validate her feelings. “It was an opportunity for Ralph to hear not just my voice, but to know that, maybe, this is something we need to dig into,” she added. Drew, I hope you prove me wrong and things work with this man. But the red flags are blocking my view, honey, and I can’t look away.
