The fallout between longtime friends Meredith Marks and Lisa Barlow might have been simmering for some time. But when it actually happened, it went down at lightening speed. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City stars seemingly butt heads over everything last season. Meredith was miffed that Lisa suddenly became close with her nemesis, Jen Shah. And Lisa made a grave mistake by questioning the validity of Meredith’s father’s memorial.
All of this resulted in a “hot mic” moment, where Lisa lost her mind and trashed Meredith while still mic’d up. Lisa ranted, “Meredith can go f— herself, I’m done with her. Cause I’m not a f—— whore and I don’t cheat on my husband. Her and her dumb f—— family that poses. Why don’t you own a house? Oh wait you can’t, cause your husband changes jobs every five minutes. Meredith is a piece of f—— shit. I had your back and I’m offended by that. F— you. That f—— piece of shit garbage whore. I f—— hate her. She’s a whore. She fucked half of New York. She can go f— herself.” Whew!
While Lisa apologized at the reunion, Meredith wasn’t in the forgiving mood. And it looks like she’s still not. Meredith recently posted a cryptic message on her Instagram stories. While stories disappear after 24 hours, the Instagram fan account All About The Real Housewives was able to get the screenshot.
Meredith wrote, “I am tired of constantly giving people the benefit of the doubt. You are exactly what you show me. Thank you for letting me see your true colors.” Now we don’t know who Meredith is addressing, but it might be a shade to Lisa. Prior to Meredith’s post, Lisa made a post in her own Instagram stories. She simply stated, “Be who you say you are.”
This wouldn’t be the first social media tift the two have had. Following the reunion, Lisa posted screen shots on Twitter, showing a text message between her and Meredith. Meredith wrote to Lisa, “If you love my family [please] stand up for it. I am in immense pain. Suffering daily. What you decide is right for you, I will always respect. But I am asking for a friend. I have gone through what no one should ever. I am hurting. I love you. I am in extreme pain and feel alone.”
Lisa then added a screen shot of her response, which she sent the following morning. Lisa wrote, “I will! I am here for you. You’re not alone. Can you chat today?” She added, “I don’t ever want for you to be sad or suffering. Let me know how I can help.” Lisa also posted a call log for the day, with the insinuation that she spoke with Meredith for 23 minutes that day. Lisa then deleted the tweets. But she wasn’t fast enough. Meredith saw them and tweeted, “May have been nice if Lisa actually called like she said she would in the text train to support me or when I begged for her support as my father was dying.” Meredith also ended up deleting the tweet.
