The countdown to Teresa Giudice’s August 6th wedding is on. I’m sure your calendar is already marked. In June Ramona Singer shared her invitation to Teresa’s wedding on her Instagram story, showing every painstaking detail. Fans of The Housewives went wild, sharing the ceremony location, dress code, and wedding registry across the Bravospehere. What a disaster.
“I called [Ramona], and I’m like, ‘Can you please take that down off your story right now,’” Teresa recalled. “And she’s like ‘Oh my God, what did I do?’ and she was like, ‘It was the most beautiful invitation I’ve ever got, and I get a lot of invitations.’”
At the time, Teresa and her fiance Luis “Louie” Ruelas agreed Ramona’s post was an “honest mistake.” Sort of like when the Ramona-coaster posted her personal bank statement for all to see. How do we get off this ride?
“I don’t know. I have yet to pick up the phone to speak to Teresa because I’m so embarrassed about what happened. I will find out later what’s gonna go on,” Ramona said in an interview following her faux pas. Ramona insists that she just wanted to share the gorgeous invitations with everybody, adding that sharing the details of the event “wasn’t intentional.”
Although the world of Bravo knows all of the details about their upcoming wedding ceremony, Teresa and Louie said they aren’t making any major changes to their plans (besides maybe a few extra bouncers). One adjustment, though, was updating the invitations.
In a post to Instagram Teresa shared a video of herself opening a small clear box filled with white roses and wrapped in white lace. She wrote, “I’m so excited! Our new wedding invitations are absolutely breathtaking and our guests have all been reaching out to tell us how beautiful they are. Thank you so much @rose.box.nyc!” All’s well that ends well, I guess!
Still no formal word yet on whether Tre and Louie’s wedding will air on Real Housewives of New Jersey or perhaps their own Bravo special. Either way, I’m sure we can all track Ramona’s social media for live updates and the inside scoop!
