She loves God, but she will read you like a scripture! YAS! Mary Cosby from the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is officially back. After she ditched the RHOSLC Season 2 reunion last year, fans were sure they’d never see this Utah snowflake back in the Housewives mix. But here we are.
The news of Mary’s return to the Real Housewives came in February 2023. The rumors were that she would be featured as a friend and film a “few scenes” with the rest of the cast. But with this new report from People, there could be a possible switcheroo.
Queens of Bravo on Twitter tweeted a sneak peek video featuring the ladies filming for Season 4. And yes, there was a familiar face. “It’s not yet known whether [Mary will] be a friend or a full-time cast member. It’s early in filming still, and casting decisions often shift as the months go on,” a production source said.
Mary’s return makes me so happy. I love her. I think she’s excellent on tv and often misunderstood. After dealing with her seemingly racist cast mate last season, Mary probably needed a little break. A source previously said she was “dealing with a lot of trauma after Season 2.” However, Mary “is excited to be in the fold again, as are the women to have her return.”
“The ladies have said before the show was missing something without Mary last season,” the source explained. “So there’s feeling among all that the magic is back.”
Season 3 of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City gave fans NOTHING. Nothing new, nothing interesting, and nothing worth talking about. Many of us were tuning in to see the building up and fallout of Jen Shah’s legal case, but production failed us there, too.
Additionally, we dealt with an entire season and then some playing Blue’s Clues with Heather Gay’s black eye. In my opinion, if Mary were there– this would’ve been over before it even started. All in all, I’m very excited about her return and can’t wait to see what she brings us in Season 4.
