Jessel Taank and her co-star on the Real Housewives of New York reboot, Sai De Silva, ended Season 14 in a rough place. Sai accused Jessel of fabricating stories about her past. Both Sai’s mother and Jessel’s uncle were alcoholics. When Jessel tried to connect with Sai on this point, Sai was furious. I truly believe that Jessel didn’t mean any harm.
Meanwhile, Sai and Erin Lichy spent an enormous amount of time analyzing Jessel’s marriage to Pavit Randhawa. The couple had a long sex drought after welcoming twin sons. Pavit’s solo trip to Vietnam to earn points and relax was picked apart by Jessel’s co-stars. Sai and Erin hinted that Pavit was going there to cheat on his wife. They also thought she lied about finally having sex with her husband. Don’t these ladies have anyone else to gossip about?
Jessel called out Sai as a “mean girl.” And Sai clapped back. “I’m definitely not a mean girl. I think that there should not be any confusion to being honest,” the influencer responded. “I’m a girl’s girl. She knows that at the end of the day.”
They will never be besties
Jessel told US Weekly, “Sai and I are on good terms.” After watching RHONY, she took a beat to reflect on her own conduct. “I know I said a number of things that I’m like, ‘Oh, God, cringe, so awful.’ And I’m sure that as we’re all watching ourselves on TV, you’re like, ‘Oh, gosh,’” Jessel explained. “It’s just more of a revelation on how you’re reflected and how people see you.”
Jessel doesn’t know if Sai is willing to work on deepening their friendship. “And quite frankly, I don’t care,” she admitted. “It’s one of those things where I’ll always put my best foot forward. There’s only so much you can do, and truly I am who I am — and I said that to her.”
She continued, “I was like, ‘If we are not aligned or if we’re not the same personality or if we’re just not connecting, it’s OK.’ You don’t have to love everyone that’s in your world.”
I think it is best if these two ladies keep it surface-level for a while. And Sai should stop obsessing about Jessel and Pavit’s marriage.
