She’s paid to be Shannon Storms Beador after all. The Real Housewives of Orange County star prides herself on her character, as over-inflated as her perception is. And her critics could point out that Shannon deflects, rarely takes accountablity, and is ever the victim.
That perceived entitlement is what makes Heather Dubrow’s claims about Shannon all the more believable. The Seven Year Stitch host spoke about her friendship status with Shannon, after filming RHOC Season 17 and the reunion.
Heather will always “pick up the phone”
Heather joined Nick Viall’s The Viall Files podcast in October 2023 to discuss where she’s at with her RHOC co-star. And the Dubrow Diet author made some major claims.
Heather told The Bachelor alum that Shannon contacted her for favors, despite their rocky relationship during Season 17. According to Heather, Shannon did not acknowledge the issues, she simple called for favors.
“Did you see on the [RHOC season 17] reunion when I said, ‘You texted me last week.’ It was because she needed something. So she reached out to me twice before [Beador’s] DUI [arrest], in the last month to ask for a favor, for two different things,” Heather said.
In one instance, Shannon had just trashed Heather during an August 2023 episode of Watch What Happens Live when she contacted the mother-of-four “for a favor.”
Heather explained, “and one of the favors was the night after she trashed me on ‘Watch What Happens Live.’ But if she calls me and she says, ‘I need help. Or can you please call me.’ I pick up the phone. That’s what I do with my friends.”
Shannon confronted Heather during the RHOC reunion for speaking negatively about her former relationship with John Janssen. Yet failed to give some of her other co-stars the same attention for the same offense.
It’s interesting that Heather did not give details on what Shannon requested of her. Maybe that’s reality TV fodder for next season.
