RHOBH’s Erika Jayne Is Ready To Move On: ‘Put Down the Pitchforks’

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills made its return to Bravo this week, and it means we’re back to suffering through the vileness that is Erika Jayne. Erika is the show’s proud villain, but she takes it to extreme levels of low. I can’t even begin to rehash her divorce, her behavior during Tom Girardi’s legal battles, and beyond without truly putting myself in a dark place. It’s real icky.

Erika is back to doing what she does best on RHOBH — skirting around responsibility. She wants us to all have so much empathy for her, despite her literally proclaiming that she doesn’t know how to do the same for others. Now, Erika feels like enough time has past for her to get her good guy redemption. Sorry sweetie, but I don’t think you get to just “decide” that the public changes their opinion of you. Your actions will do that.

Erika spoke to TV Insider about public scrutiny and wanting it to stop. She phrased it as wanting to “move on” in general. ” I want to move on and I want others to let me move on,” Erika said. “It is time for everyone to put down the pitchforks.”

Alright, Miss Martyr is at it again. Let’s see Erika start with treating her friends at least a little bit better than she treats her enemies before we decide to give her the good guy treatment. I’m not saying I’m not willing to give credit where it’s due, but again, Miss Erika has to prove that with her actions.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
