The Season 1 “Dinner Party From Hell” episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is still arguably one of the most iconic Housewives scenes of all time, even 13 years later. What was supposed to be a relaxed meal at Camille Grammer’s house turned into absolute chaos.
One very memorable mess that night was when Camille’s friend and psychic medium, Allison DuBois, informed Kyle Richards that “[Mauricio Umansky] will never emotionally fulfil you. Ever. Know that,” while smugly sipping a martini and chain-smoking an e-cigarette.
It took over a decade to happen, but Kyle and Mauricio did separate. Viewers brought up Allison’s prediction as soon as that news dropped. Allison also made a statement. However, Kyle was recently on Watch What Happens Live and tried to poke holes in what Allison had predicted so long ago. Unsurprisingly, Allison wasn’t here for it. She took to a comment section to demand that Kyle “STOP misquoting her.”
Kyle said Allison DuBois was wrong
Kyle appeared on the October 25 episode of WWHL and answered a lot of tough questions about her and Mauricio’s relationship. Andy Cohen asked if she thought Allison was correct in saying that her marriage wouldn’t be successful. Kyle quickly answered “no” and explained that back then, she and Mauricio were “very, very happy, and that was not fake.”
Kyle continued, “[Allison] also [said at the time], ‘Oh, this is your second marriage? Then you’re not getting divorced.’ Remember that? Because everyone keeps forgetting about that moment.”
Allison wasted no time hitting back at Kyle
It’s comforting to know that Allison is just as snarky as ever. Allison commented on a post about her being mentioned on WWHL. She decided to tell Kyle to get the story straight.
Allison came in hot. “Oh Kyle, you look so bothered by the mention of my name tonight and Dinner Party From Hell prediction on WWHL. I had to watch it for homework for David Yontef’s podcast Behind the Velvet Rope interview since, I don’t watch Housewives and you have a new season.”
She kept going. “Imagine my surprise when I was mentioned on Andy’s show. STOP misquoting me. I said ‘he’ll never emotionally fulfill you and when your kids are older, you’ll have nothing in common. You’ll stay with him and he’ll take care of you.’”
“I NEVER used the word DIVORCE. I don’t care either way, but I never mentioned that. Be accurate. Good luck, it’s your life, just live it. Kyle mentioned this on National TV so I had to set the record straight.” Ouch.
Season 13 of RHOBH seems like it’s off to a good start, but another Allison DuBois appearance could really kick things up a notch!
RHOBH airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo, and hits Peacock the day after.
