Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards have officially announced their separation. Over a decade of their 27-years-long marriage aired on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Despite several rumblings of Mauricio’s wandering eyes (among other body parts…), the two always presented as happy. Their split was therefore shocking, causing many fans to even label it as being a fake, contrived storyline for Bravo.
Regardless, it seems like everyone is invested in the fate of Mauricio and Kyle. Everywhere Mauricio goes, members of the paparazzi follow. To date, he’s been photographed with two different women, and each time, his interactions with the ladies appeared intimate. On the contrary, he’s also not using the word divorce, so, we’re confused, where does Mauricio stand?
To help us answer this question, we’ll sort through what we know, in addition to what has been captured by the paps. Perhaps Mauricio is truly moving on with someone new. Or, he could just be moving forward, going through the motions until his next steps are made clear. Either way, all signs suggest Mauricio Umansky already moved on from Kyle Richards post their announced split, and we’ll explain why now.
Mo and Kyle Have Not Brought in Divorce Lawyers, Yet
At this time, Mo and Kyle are not divorcing. Yes, we know that the usually well-spoken Kyle malfunctioned during BravoCon. Here, she used the word “divorce” when speaking to a reporter on the red carpet. However, Kyle quickly took this word back during the following panel, explaining that it was said in error.
Long story short, the Umanskys have not brought in their legal teams to sort out the end of their marriage. We’ll consider this a point given for Mo and Kyle’s marriage remaining intact.
Mauricio Is Avoiding The Drama
RHOBH Season 13 has just started airing, but Mo’s not watching. Instead, he was dancing. Was is the key word here, as Mauricio was just eliminated from Dancing with the Stars. Unluckily for him, all anyone cared about was his separation, not his salsa, nor his swing.
As for this all-consuming narrative that has taken away from his other projects, Mo is miserable and over the drama. He even stressed that he didn’t watch the trailer of his wife’s new season. This was because Mauricio knew that their separation would be dramatized, and he didn’t care to engage. However, he still spoke kindly, stressing that the pair have not made any plans to divorce and that they are still working hard on their marriage.
So, Mo is over the drama, but, he isn’t over his vows. These words are not conducive to a man who is moving on with other women. Instead, Mauricio is making it appear as if there is still hope for his marriage to Kyle, while his dance partner, Emma Slater, looked at the ground, then all around, with a bit of a sad expression on her face. More on Emma just below, but at this point, things are starting to get confusing, as the signs start pointing towards a moving on Mo.
The Co-Worker Confusion
In a photo taken just prior to Mauricio’s ousting from DWTS, Mo, his divorced parents, and Mo’s co-worker, Leslie, were snapped at a restaurant, mid meal. In the image, Leslie’s face was coy, and her arm was around Mauricio, causing fans everywhere to speculate on whether or not the two were now an item.
However, when this image circulated, it was cleared up, fast. Apparently, Mauricio joined them mid-meal, as Leslie is the one dating his father, and his mother was just joining her ex and his new beau for an evening out.
Ok, so, Mauricio is not dating Leslie, and also, way to go Mo’s dad! But still, this image was confusing, so we can understand the speculations that it caused. While it doesn’t answer our questions on whether or not Mo is moving on, it does help to set the stage, as even more questionable photos and shady narratives soon followed.
Move Over, BravoCon, Hello, Emma Slater
When Kyle was in Vegas at BravoCon, Mauricio remained back in California with his dance partner, Emma. In fact, Mauricio and Emma were even spotted out together, holding hands. When asked about this, Kyle admitted that it made her feel sad to see her estranged husband with someone else. However, Mauricio and Emma released a video that explained their tight friendship, and they insisted that they were not an item.
They sure looked like an item, but if Mauricio and Emma both say that they are not, then there’s not a whole lot of answers that we can glean from their snapped outing with the paps. Maybe Mauricio is going to move on with Emma, just not yet. Or, perhaps, Emma is truly just being a supportive touchy feely friend for Mauricio. Could it be possible, at this point, that Mo is innocent in the never-ending claims that support his moving on with other women?
The Mystery Blonde
Welp. We just hit a turning point here, as yet another snapped outing with Mauricio has emerged. Here, Mauricio and an unknown blonde women in Texas were seen getting quite cozy together, and luckily for us, Us Weekly shared the tea. Their insider insisted that “He was all over her,” adding, “There was no kissing, but they were getting very close.”
According to this source, Mauricio and the blonde sat next to each other during their large dinner party. “He was flirting with her and holding her hand at one point. They were whispering to each other, and he had his arm behind her. They were definitely having fun together, and she was into it,” they spilled.
There you have it. In our opinion, Mauricio is moving on from Kyle. Unless he releases another denial statement about his time in Texas, that is.
