Once again, there is peace between the famous sisters from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Sisters Kyle Richards and Kim Richards began the series together. And their vicious argument in a limo will live in Real Housewives infamy.
Then Kyle’s other sister, Kathy Hilton, signed on for RHOBH. But during Season 12, when Kathy appeared in a friend role, the season turned dark. All Kyle got for her Christmas lunch with Kathy was caviar on baked potatoes. Oh, the horror!
But the bitter feud between Kathy and Kyle started because of Lisa Rinna. It was a swirling vortex of tequila brands, Sprinter vans, and alleged meltdowns. Then Kathy accused Kyle of not siding with her. Lisa refused to “let the mouse go” and sank her friend’s bond with her own sister.
Reunited, and it feels so good!
Kathy recently shared the details of her reunion with Kyle. “When I saw Kyle in Aspen at [sister] Kim [Richards’] daughter’s wedding, I walked [into] a very quiet hair salon, and Kyle, she was getting her hair washed,” she told Page Six at her annual Christmas soiree.
Kim’s daughter Whitney Davis married Luke White on June 24, 2023. When Kyle saw Kathy in the salon, she was excited. “She goes, ‘Oh, there’s my sister!’” Kathy said. “And I was literally like … it made me feel so good. I hadn’t seen her yet,” Kathy recalled as she became emotional. “But she was so excited telling the person, so it made me feel good.”
Kyle actually barged into the interview as Kathy was commenting about Kyle’s split from her longtime husband, and recent private dancer, Mauricio Umansky. “They do love each other and they put their children first.” Kathy told Kyle, “And I think you’ll always have those times and celebrate.”
But Kyle was happy about making amends with her big sis. “It just feels really nice to be in a great place with my sister, especially around the holidays,” Kyle said. Let’s just keep Lisa out of the equation this time, ladies.
