When it comes to Housewives newbies, there’s always a level of scrutiny to be expected. It’s difficult to enter a world where viewers will immediately make their judgments known. But Monica Garcia has received heavy scrutiny, perhaps more than any other newbie.
Perhaps Real Housewives of Salt Lake City viewers have targeted Monica in particular because of her unexpected popularity. For some, Monica just seems shifty. But whatever the case, Monica knows there are people out to expose her.
Despite her efforts to stay exposing herself, like when she released her mugshot via Instagram, other accusations continue mounting against her. Now, a woman claiming to have been her friend for four years has a few words to say about the RHOSLC newcomer.
Does Monica use burner accounts to fake DMs?
On December 12, Reddit user u/Necessary-Canary-781 uploaded screen recordings of a woman claiming to be Monica’s friend of four years. The Reddit user explained that this woman previously accused Monica of trying to tarnish her reputation as a makeup artist. The woman, Tenesha, took to her Instagram story to make multiple claims against Monica.
The first claim alleged that, after a big fight, Monica said “in full tears … her daughter got hit by a car.” Later, Monica called Tenesha again, saying, “‘Don’t be mad. She didn’t get hit by a car. I just knew that was the only way you would talk to me.’”
Other claims levied against Monica included the allegation that she had no family members in Bermuda, only Arizona and Massachusetts. Moreover, Tenesha alleged that Monica owned multiple burner accounts to orchestrate DMs with herself which she could then screenshot and send to others.
Tenesha apparently works for Heather Gay
However, other Redditors approached Tenesha’s claims with heavy skepticism. Many users recognized Tenesha as Heather Gay’s stylist, and speculation immediately poured out as to whether Heather had put her up to this. “Heather is really out there trying to make Monica look like a liar, it’s so obvious she is creating a smear campaign,” one fan commented.
Other users noted the lawsuit between Monica and Heather, with Monica having sued Beauty Lab + Laser for allegedly botching a Botox treatment. “This is the hairstylist of the woman [Monica’s] suing,” another user wrote. Fans also refuted claims that Monica fabricated her family in Bermuda – claims that Monica has disputed.
Still, some believed at least some of Tenesha’s accusations. However, the rationale was mostly based on a gut feeling that Monica was a sketchy character. As of right now, this is all up in the air, but knowing Tenesha works for Heather is not a great look.
