I think that I can speak for most of us when I say that I didn’t have Kristen Taekman on my bingo card as a cast member on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy. She was part of the cast on Seasons 6 and 7 of The Real Housewives of New York City. She spent most of her time sparring with Ramona Singer. Remember that canoe escapade when Kristen playfully splashed Ramona? And then Ramona threw a wine glass at Kristen’s face? Good times.
The iconic cast for RHUGT included Luann de Lesseps, Ramona, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley, and Kelly Bensimon. If Kristen expected her co-stars to bring up her husband Josh Taekman’s Ashley Madison cheating scandal, she was correct. The website, which was for married people who wanted to have affairs, had a data breach in 2015. And Josh’s name was on the list of subscribers. But Kristen claimed that she and Josh dealt with it a long time ago.
Kristen is ready for the next RHUGT
Now Kristen is talking about the future after the RHUGT: RHONY Legacy trip. Namely, keeping the ladies in play. “I would definitely be open to it. I think we’ve got a lot more in us,” she told Daily Mail Australia. She continued, “I think it would be fun to pull from a couple of other girls, like keep the six that we have and maybe add a couple of more to spice things up a little bit. So yeah, why not?” I’m here for it. I love the cast. Minus Ramona.
“Who doesn’t want to go on vacation? But can we please stay in warm places? Or how about a ski trip?” Kristen suggested. So, who else would Kristen like to see pack their bags for a Legacy trip? “I always really liked Aviva [Drescher]. I think she’d be a great addition to one of these shows, and we all have to remember why Aviva probably wasn’t invited to this show because originally, remember, she could not get on that flight with her husband!” Kristen remarked. The trip could get a little dicey if Aviva tossed her leg and knocked over someone’s cocktail.
Kristen isn’t the only RHONY Legacy cast member who is down for another trip. Both Kelly and Luann have expressed an interest in keeping this legendary group in front of the cameras. Hopefully, Peacock is listening to the fans and bringing these ladies back.
