The Traitors Season 2 Cast Reveal Most Traitorous Deeds Ahead of Premiere

Brace yourself. Another season of Peacock’s The Traitors is coming on January 12. (I can never say the title of that show without rolling the “r” the way delightful host Alan Cumming does.)

Viewers will wait on bated breath each week to see who the Faithful will eliminate for being a suspected Traitor. But more importantly, we will anticipate seeing what the deliciously fashion-forward host is wearing. I can’t express how much I love Alan Cumming. He lights up my heart like the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree every time he walks on-screen.

Nattily dressed Alan will oversee a cast secretly divided between Faithful and Traitors. Each week the Traitors will “murder” one player, while the Faithful try to weed out and eliminate the Traitors. EW put the entire cast to the test, asking them the most traitorous thing they have ever done.

Trishelle Cannatella (Real World: Las Vegas) confessed to being pretty “scandalous with boys” in her 20s. “I’ve definitely dated two guys at the same time, maybe three or four,” she said.

Janelle Pierzina from Big Brother refused to admit to any treacherous doings. “The most traitorous thing that I’ve ever done?” she asked. “I would never admit to that. So maybe I am a true Traitor, but I would never admit that.”

But Parvati Shallow of Survivor was ready to confess her sins. “I led a band of women called the Black Widow Brigade through a season of Survivor,” she shared. “We blindsided poor little Erik Reichenbach and convinced him to give up his immunity necklace and then voted him out. That’s the most traitorous thing that I’m known for, is leading that group of women.”

Season 24 Bachelor star Peter Weber had an interesting confession about his time on the show. “The most traitorous thing I’ve ever done can get me in trouble here,” he worried. “On The Bachelor, you only have so much information given to you … I was trying to get as much info as I could on [the women] and found a way to sneak an iPad through to the hotel room to do my own research … just trying to level the playing field a little bit. So that’s probably the most traitorous thing I’ve ever done.”

But some other stars claimed to have never done anything traitorous at all. Maksim Chmerkovskiy of Dancing With the Stars said he’s never been a traitor. “I lead always with honesty’s the best policy,” he professed. “I’m an old school, well-raised, good boy type of [guy]. So yeah, not a treacherous personality per se. [But] can I backstab somebody? Yeah.”

While confessing to being a bit naughty when she was younger, Shereé Whitfield of The Real Housewives of Atlanta admitted, “I don’t really do traitorous things, but … when I was younger and guys would call and ask me for a date, I would say yes to the ones I wanted to, and sometimes it was multiple. So whoever got to my house first, I would go on a date with him.”

True to form, Tamra Judge would only admit to her typical pot-stirring. “The most traitorous thing I’ve ever done,” she said, “is probably outed somebody for having an affair on the Real Housewives of Orange County.”

The Traitors airs Fridays on Peacock, beginning January 12, 2024.
