Southern Hospitality Season 2 has been a rollercoaster so far. Of course, when you’re spun off from Southern Charm and inspired by programs like Vanderpump Rules, there’s sure to be drama. But this crew of Charleston friends, who also double as Leva Bonaparte’s bartenders at her nightclub, take the word “drama” to a different level. And their upcoming cast trip to Miami may be as explosive as Heather Gay’s shocking Bermuda soliloquy.
So far, Season 2 has featured two firings, two cheating scandals, and, recently, a plot to steal someone’s job. The latest episodes show Emmy Sharrett attempting to take on more responsibility at Republic following her co-star Maddi Reese’s lack of leadership. Episode 6 ended on a cliffhanger after Maddi confronted the rest of the cast for betraying her trust.
In a new interview with Decider, Will Kulp and TJ Dinch share what viewers can expect from their upcoming cast trip to Florida. Plus, Emmy spills more about what led to her beef with Maddi.
Miami will cause major fireworks for the Southern Hospitality Season 2 cast…
If you watched Season 1 of Southern Hospitality, you know Maddi and Emmy were close friends. So, what led to their fallout during Season 2? “The thing about Maddi is that when we were filming, she kept everything pretty private and tucked away,” Emmy said. She was likely referring to the cheating rumors about Maddi’s boyfriend, Trevor Stokes.
“…she was literally forced to talk about her issues … I don’t know what she’s said about me in her confessionals, but the conversations she and I had this season were intense. When you guys see Miami, it’s going to be insane.”
Speaking of Miami, TJ, who’s also pals with Emmy and Will, said he’s “curious” to see the cast trip himself.
“At this point in the season, you’ve seen all the cracks in all the friendships in the group, and something happens in Miami,” Will said. “When we got there, something fractured. The cracks that were in the friend group turned into really big problems that didn’t play out well for most everyone.”
“You sat everyone down at a table, and everyone started talking, and then you had to figure out who’s a liar and who’s not. Because when everyone’s there, you can’t lie about what you’re saying to that person,” Emmy added.
“There is a timeline, and there are receipts,” TJ finished. He was of course referring to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s surprising Season 4 finale.
Southern Hospitality continues on Bravo, Thursdays at 9/8c.
