Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s wild Season 4 has come to a close, and Andy Cohen probably feels like he needs a vacation (to Bermuda, perhaps?) after that reunion. Monica Garcia had a lot of explaining to do about the Reality Von Tease of it all. Unfortunately, even Andy’s expertise couldn’t help Monica truly weather that storm.
Monica ended her RHOSLC career (for now) with a flop at the reunion. Her story was so overly convoluted that none of the ladies, aside from (shockingly) Mary Cosby, could support her. One of the most embarrassing moments was Monica’s lame attempt at channeling Meal Girls with a Burn Book.
Andy Cohen didn’t get Monica’s antics
In an interview with Variety, Andy Cohen addressed the moment when Monica pulled out a Burn Book. “It certainly was a FU to the other women,” Andy said. You could say that again.
Andy commended Heather Gay, who was also interviewed, for explaining right at the moment why the Burn Book wasn’t as iconic as Monica would’ve liked. “She said she kind of meant it as a joke and that it really told the whole story,” Andy said. “I’m not sure that it ever crossed the finish line in terms of the point that she wanted to make and I have to assume that there was a greater point.”
With Monica, who knows what her greater goal was? If it was to have an infamous one-and-done season of reality TV, then she accomplished that mission. However, if she was planning on launching a lucrative reality TV career to ride the wave for years to come, she’s gonna have to get creative. Maybe she could publish the entirety of the Burn Book online to get the actual point across…
