All the Ways Ariana Madix Seems Different This Season

Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules has shown a changed Ariana Madix. She is still very much processing the fallout of Scandoval, and since the Bravo cameras picked right back up, her unsteadiness makes sense. As fans will recall, Season 10 was extremely turbulent thanks to Tom Sandoval and Rachel Leviss‘ ongoing affair. The group found out about it all as the season wrapped filming, leaving everyone spiraling and reaching for their Zoloft. But Ariana is poised for a glow-up, and I think fans will see a noticeable change.

Listen, I’ve been there. A guy breaks your heart with some crazy story that seems out of left field. The new season shows Ariana only three months out of the breaking news and she is zoned out at the best of times. I feel that Ariana is still decompressing from a rough last summer, which showed her losing her grandmother and beloved dog of 13 years. She is emotional, and I don’t see that going away any time soon.

During her visit to TomTom, which personally I would never step foot in my ex’s bar, but I get it, the show must go on. She broke down after being seated in a particular seat. It turns out that the seat in question was the exact same place she had sat the night she had found Tom’s secret phone conversations. The PTSD is strong, and the sights, smells, and sounds all came flooding back at once. I know this season will show a sad Ariana, but I hope she perks up soon.

Ariana Is Confident

If it was me, I don’t think I could have gone to a wedding three days after a major breakup and genuinely believed in marriage. But Ariana proved us all wrong and stunned in a pink dress. The season premiere of Vanderpump Rules showed Ariana laughing in the face of dishonesty. Now, Ariana is well aware that her ex tried his hardest to impede her friendships with Katie Maloney and Lala Kent so she won’t be taken for the dummy ever again.

Ariana knows who is on her team, and it doesn’t include Tom Schwartz. Her icy disposition is sending a signal while she isn’t on speaking terms. Tom is quick to joke in his confessional that “Ariana’s got the wall up. She’s an ice queen. I understand that she has this exalted status: Queen Ariana, Patron Saint of Scorned Women,” but do you blame her? She has every right to be a bit closed off from those who have hurt her. She knows she needs to be strong during this time.

Petty Ariana

I get not wanting to have to communicate with your ex, but when you choose to still live in the same house, it is just par for the course. Yet Tom and Ariana are choosing to put an innocent assistant in the middle of their divorce-like separation. It’s terrible, but I am here for the pettiness. It feels like one of those old sitcoms where they put a line down the middle of the house like on I Love Lucy and just made the best of it. Bravo showed a glimpse of their texts as Ariana wrote, “Please tell him to turn off the LED lights at night. It’s annoying the neighbors.”

Masterfully and perfectly, Tom replied. “He says they fall under freedom of speech.” I could see Ariana’s eyes get stuck in the back of her head. Honestly, this assistant can’t possibly be getting paid enough to endure this type of toxic work environment. And when Anne asked if he could have a birthday party at the house. Ariana fired back, “That’s not happening,”

Ariana fired back with an icy smile. “I think that’s very disrespectful and inappropriate. If he wants to have a party, he can have it somewhere else. If there are people here making noise, I will call the cops.”

Boss Bitch

Even though she may be heartbroken, Ariana is cashing in on her sorrow. Without skipping a beat, she has started a business and used her good name to earn some extra cash in the form of collaborative ads. The first few episodes are proving that Season 11 will be one hell of a God-like comeback.
