It’s been nearly a year since Wendy Williams was last seen in public. In the blink of an eye, she went from being a daily fixture in pop culture to completely vanishing from the conversation. Rumors have swirled about health and financial issues, leaving her fans seriously concerned about her wellbeing. Now, Lifetime is finally getting us some answers. They just announced a brand-new documentary called Where is Wendy Williams?
The network previously produced Wendy’s biopic and an accompanying documentary that explained the falling out between her and her ex-husband, Kevin Hunter. Their latest entry in the Wendy Cinematic Universe aims to answer the burning question: where the hell is our girl Wendy?

The Wendy Williams Show went off the air back in 2022. Then, Wendy made headlines for being placed under financial guardianship amid various health issues. After spending her entire career dishing on Hot Topics, her life became one.
Although Wendy has been absent from the public eye, Lifetime was chronicling the whole the whole thing. They filmed this documentary for nearly two years, and somehow, we’re just now hearing about it. According to a press release, the cameras captured “Wendy’s delicate state of mind, erratic behavior and declining health.”
In the trailer, we get a glimpse of all of that and more. In our first look at Wendy, it’s clear that something is very wrong. What isn’t clear is who’s steering the ship.
“I’m gonna tell you something, if it happens to me, it could happen to you,” Wendy cryptically said in the emotional trailer.
With nearly two years of footage, Lifetime has a lot of ground to cover. The new documentary is four-and-a-half hours and will span across two nights.
Where Is Wendy Williams airs on Lifetime on Saturday, February 24 and 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
