Scheana Shay and Lindsay Hubbard’s relationship has been something of a rollercoaster in recent months.
They apparently were able to “Squash that Beef” at BravoCon 2023 in Las Vegas (something about a dining experience that went sideways). But just a few weeks later, there was another incident. The friendship soured again when Scheana went to Mexico on what would have been Linds and ex-fiancé Carl Radke’s wedding weekend.
Scheana discussed her relationship with the volatile Summer House star on her Scheananigans podcast in December. The Vanderpump Rules OG also told Andy Cohen where she and Hubhouse currently stand during an episode of Watch What Happens Live on February 6.
Scheana’s just closer to Carl — and his mom
Scheana and Carl have been friends for years, so her loyalties would naturally lie with him. Nevertheless, a WWHL fan asked Summer Moon’s mom if her relationship with Carl had any effect on the way she feels about Lindsay.
She admitted to not being “insanely surprised” when Carl and Lindsay broke off their engagement. Neither were the rest of us. Lindsay’s one of a kind. Scheana’s still close to Carl, so naturally, her relationship with Lindsay has changed.
“I’ve spent more time with Carl recently,” the Good as Gold singer said. “I have not spoken to Lindsay since BravoCon … I think when I went to Mexico, which was supposed to be their wedding, she heard some things and took it one way, and it was a joke I said that went the wrong way, I guess.”
Scheana shared that when she and husband Brock Davies were in Mexico, she spent a lot of time with Carl’s mom, Sharon Radke. When she and Sharon were in the pool together, she joked, “Oh I can just imagine the fans next year, like, are we going to have real beef to squash because I’m here in Mexico with Carl’s mom?”
Apparently, someone overheard the comment, because Scheana heard from Lindsay the next day. Lindsay told Scheana that she’d heard about the pool conversation from “five different people.”
Even though Scheana still insists the comment was just a harmless joke and not said in a mean way, it sounds like she and Hubhouse will indeed have some beef to squash at BravoCon later this year.
