It’s the end of an era, albeit a short-lived one. Bethenny Frankel just announced that she’s canceling one of her handful of podcasts. Brace yourself for this news, but ReWives is coming to an end. Bethenny’s reasoning behind the cancelation is the most surprising part. She’s blaming it on her moral compass.
Bethenny’s canceling one of her podcasts
The Real Housewives of New York City alum broke the news about her podcast during a farewell episode called, “It’s Me… I’m the Problem, It’s Me.” In a rare moment of self-reflection, she recalled the messy headlines currently following Bravo and all the ways she contributed to them.
“As of late, there has been so much dirt and garbage and crap, like a dark cloud over this space, this medium, this vehicle in entertainment,” Bethenny explained.
She said that she thought ReWives would be “good for business.” Once she started interviewing former Bravolebs, her opinion started to change. It sounds like she flew a little too close to the sun.
“It got dirtier, then it got toxic and now it’s the worst version of a toxic dumpster fire and I don’t want to be associated with it in any way and I don’t want to talk about it,” Bethenny continued.
Of course, this is a major step away from her previous stance of bringing on the “reality reckoning.” She acted like she was changing the entertainment industry and used her podcast as a platform to air grievances. These came from folks like NeNe Leakes and Rachel Leviss. With the recent lawsuit from Leah McSweeney making headlines, Bethenny is suddenly distancing herself from all of it.
Although this is the end of Bethenny and her ReWives podcast, you know for a fact there are plenty of other ways to hear her voice. Her podcast Just B isn’t going anywhere. Plus, you can tune into her TikTok feed for a rant about everything else under the sun, just not Bravo.
