There are a few cast members on Bravo’s newest spinoff, The Valley, who had ideas Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix’s relationship was headed for the flames.
During a recent Vanderpump Rules After Show, many cast members had things to say. They included Jason and Janet Caperna, Jesse and Michelle Lally, and Danny and Nia Booko.
“They would get in little fights, like, maybe they weren’t in the best place, but they weren’t in a place where it seemed like they were done,” Jason said before noting it’s “normal to have highs and lows” in a 10-year relationship. Zack Wickham, friend of The Valley, also gave his opinion, saying Ariana and Sandoval’s different lifestyle choices created “a weird dynamic.”
The Valley cast always knew Sandoval had the propensity to cheat
The newest stars inducted into the Bravoverse continued their conversation about Tom and Ariana, with Zack referring to Sandoval’s infamous cheating scandal with “Miami Girl.”
“[Ariana and Tom] never wanted to talk about the relationship on VPR, and that was always a point of contention, and so when everything went down, was it terrible? Absolutely,” Zack explained. “But was I surprised? I mean … I’m best friends with Kristen [Doute]. We knew Miami Girl was real.”
Another friend of the series, Jasmine Goode, shed light on their relationship. She said the rumors she heard about Sandoval never surprised her because somebody will “throw sh*t out there” when you’re a reality star.
Kristen, who dated Sandoval several years before they called it quits, said his immature nature turned her off completely. She explained the things she once enjoyed about him weren’t “fun and cute anymore when you’re in your 40s.” You think?
Jax and Brittany also face relationship troubles ahead of The Valley
Tom and Ariana aren’t the only ones with relationship issues tied to The Valley. Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor have also had a challenging year. Brittany revealed that she and Jax had taken some time apart to focus on themselves.
Since then, the pair have been up and down. And Bravo wanted to be certain they captured it for the audience. Although the series wrapped filming in 2023, it’s looking likely we’ll get drama from 2024 included, too.
Brittany recently slammed online users who claimed the pair were using their breakup for ratings. “Actually I’m pretty sure this trailer that we filmed 6 months ago shows exactly WHY I’m where I am right now and it’s NOT a promo for any show, this is my LIFE!!!,” she wrote. “Enough with that!!!!”
The Valley premieres on Bravo on Tuesday, March 19.
